Constantin Florea @Chris Roy Jackson - I am sorry about the issue. There is no trial download URL for this program. It seems that when the submission was made, the download URL field was filled in with the URL to the shopping cart. I have removed the Download Trial link since it was not accurate.

John H Just in time for Income Tax Season.

This is well rated software on Amazon.

The Name Quicken is confusing and I thought it was by the company that produces Quicken Accounting Software. It is not. Two different companies; Nolo and Intuit.

Chris Roy Jackson @John H
Are you confusing this Program ("Will Maker") with "Turbo-Tax" ???
I'm NOT SURE about who is "Writing Code", but "Quicken" is OWNED by "Intuit" (for OVER 20 years) and sometime in 1992 "Symantec" Bought "Intuit" and "Deep 6'd" at LEAST ONE of their Programs.
I BELIEVE that relationship still exists, and that they have just got TWO Websites each for their own Specific "Niche" (ie. One for Legal... One for Finance) !!!

Petr Do you know if WillMaker on sale here can be used in Canada?
Mar 14 2014 at 3:59am Copy Link
Norm Sash @Petr... this is from a product description that I found:

Estate planning documents are not valid in Canada, Louisiana or U.S. Territories.

Chris Roy Jackson WOW !!!
I just saw this on Nolo's Website
( ):

Plus, get a free living trust! Spare your family the hassle and expense of probate court as they carry out your wishes.
Quicken WillMaker Plus 2014
( )
gives you one free activation of a new Nolo's Online Living Trust, a $59 value.
Plus, you'll get unlimited revisions of your trust document for one full year.

Is this also included in Today's offering ???

Cary Adams If you actually need to prepare a will, use a local attorney. Yes, it will cost more, but you will get advice based on your personal circumstances (and pending legislation) and paperwork that will flow through your probate process and execute as you intended..

You'll never know how good this software is until it's too late. That's like buying backup software for your computer that you can't test until your drive fails. When that happens your backup is worthless, if the software is faulty.

How much is personalized advice and risk mitigation worth to you?

Mike McNew I purchased this on paypal but did not receive the 50% discount. Please let me know how to get the discount?
Mar 15 2014 at 12:10pm Copy Link
Constantin Florea @Mike McNew - We've just contacted the vendor regarding your request.

Chris Roy Jackson @Mike McNew
I purchased with Discount without a problem... BUT it's EASY to MISS it, Mike!
On the Checkout Page, in the second box immediately under the "Order Information, there's a Big Blue Button, it says, "Continue Shopping",
and immediately ABOVE the Other BIG BLUE Button is a Check Box!
Next to that checkbox it says, "Check to enter Promotion Code"!
When you check that box an entry field appears (where you can enter the Code) and another Blue Button that says "Apply"
after doing so the Price changes to the special offer.!
Hopefully Individual will work it out with you where you can still get the discount!, But if not they have a 30 Refund Policy!
Hope that helps!

John H Disappointed with the sloppy add copy screenshot here.

This is highly rated on Amazon but $12 more expensive. Also saved me from giving Mario Cumo $3 state tax money to redistribute to his corporate welfare buddies.

My purchase and download just went very smoothly.

Will not be able to try out until later. Will report back then.

Down Theshore Screenshots seem to be about a calendar program, rather than a will-making one.

John H I just installed and started using WillMaker. It is a high quality program and comes with a 450 page PDF legal manual. Worth the price of the program.
The included Legal Manual appears very complete and is easy to understand. After installation it is located in the program folder but can be copied out and put in your tablet for easier use.

Most important for younger people is the creating of a medical directive so your fate is not decided by a judge or family member if you are in a coma with a feeding tube in your belly. Or even more is if it looks like you might have to care for someone else, they should leave a medical directive to spare you the decision making. The book explains this well.

Other good information on passwords and pets are included.

While Lawyers are sometimes required, I will never blindly trust a Lawyer again and the provided book would be a good way to inform yourself of what you would be hiring the lawyer to do.

If I had a huge Estate then the cost of a lawyer would be insignificant but my estate is very small and this is a perfect and practical solution.

The document creation process software looks moron proof so far but I still have a way to go in the interview process.
