Does your schedule live and die on the pages of a calendar? Do you have a special pen (plus a highlighter) that you use to scribble appointments, tasks, and other to-dos in each little box, crossing each off as you get to them? You do everything else on a computer, now it's time to move your calendar into the digital age.

With Rainlendar, you'll be able to see everything that's coming up at a glance, right on your computer's desktop, in the form of an application that takes up very little space, yet provides you with a wealth of information right at your fingertips!

Even if you're using a different calendar application, you can get started right away with Rainlendar! Rainlendar uses the standard iCalendar format for tasks and events, so you can just transfer your appointments out of your old and busted software right into the new hotness that is Rainlendar. It's got everything you could ever want out of a calendar application - task lists, alarms, recurring events, integrated backup, the ability to print, plus the Pro version allows you to put your calendar online and share it with others, see your Microsoft Outlook appointments without opening Outlook, and edit your Google Calendar, online or offline!

And, for the renegade artistic in all of us, Rainlendar comes with a bunch of different skins of many shapes and sizes, so your calendars can change on a whim! Plus, Rainlendar supports Unicode and localization, so you can use the calendar with a number of different languages and character sets!

Nick Kobe Hi!

Thank you for your quick reply. When offline are there any limitations, other than sync, while using the program? I assume that you can still add new events, edit, delete, etc.

Kimmo Pekkola It's possible to view, edit and create new events also when offline. Events can be deleted permanently only when connected to the server though.

Karl M. Rainlendar 2 Pro is really a great piece of software and almost the best calendar software in the world.

The only downside for me is that I didn't find a skin at all which I like. But of course it's always a matter of taste.

Maja Bangalore Is it possible to sync calender from lotus notes....or outlook to Google and Rainlendar?

Kimmo Pekkola Unfortunately Lotus Notes is not supported. Rainlendar also is not a synchronization tool so it can only show your Outlook and Google calendar contents but not keep the two calendars in sync.

Kimmo Pekkola @Markus J: You can just purchase the license and send email to Rainlendar's support address and I'll change the license to the other person.

@jane smith: You can choose the Google calendar which Rainlendar reads from the settings.

vctechie Hi Kimmo. I currently use multiple Google calendars. Does Rainlendar support multiple calendars or does it only allow for one? I see your reply to @jane smith, that it reads the settings from one, but I am wondering about multiple. I have found a number of calendar apps that link to one Google calendar, this would be on the top of my list if it supports multiple calendars!!!

Nick Kobe Hi!

From a prior comment I would appreciate a clarification in regards to syncing with the Google calendar. As I understand your reply to the question regarding syncing Rainlender 2 Pro WILL sync with Google calendar, but it just won't sync Outlook and Google calendars. Is that correct?

Kimmo Pekkola Rainlendar keeps the 3rd party calendars (e.g. Outlook or Google calendar) separate. This means that you can access your Outlook and Google calendar events through Rainlendar and see them at the same time in the calendar window. You can also choose different appearance for events which are in different calendars.

However Rainlendar will not sync the events from the Google calendar into Outlook and vice versa. When you create new event in Rainlendar you need to choose the target calendar so it doesn't go automatically to all calendars.

Peter Wolf You can purchase the license (9.95 EUR) with a one time payment through PayPal. The payment will be made to rainy@iki,fi account in PayPal. Note that PayPal allows you to pay with credit card too so it's not necessary to have a PayPal account.

THEREFORE, IS NOT REALLY 50%, is only 35%. Moreover, although you can pay with paypal, if you do not have an account you are charged € 1 more. They have to explain things better.

Kimmo Pekkola Note that the prices are in different currencies. The original price is in Euros and the price in here is in U.S. Dollars. The real discount percent depends on the PayPal's exchange rate and the currency conversion fee.
