What are people saying about Rank Tracker Pro

Agniesca Rizzolani There are a handful of search engines worth EVERY effort, don't spoil your time with rankings in engines only people rearranging their rangings their are consulting for that precise purpose: that would be too sterile, barren and depressing.

Agniesca Rizzolani This being said, perhaps it would be useful for that handful, and so I dived into the web for some minutes. There, I got 2 infos, and please comment on them:

Somebody (who wants to sell his services, but that is not going to say he's wrong about his claim) tells us that as soon you run such a program doing batches on google, yahoo, etc., they block your IP, so that you can proceed manually, by closing your browser and then going again into the web under another IP, but this would largely impair the usability and utiliy of this program.

And another source tells me that to be efficient, those trackers need to adopt to the ever changing algorithms of google, yahoo, etc. You can deduct of this that you must rely upon the programmers to do so, and in the best possible way. But then, it seems to me that the utility of such a given program is not assured beyond some weeks or some months at the best, even when they do the necessary programming, since you would be stuck with the old version.

And on their site, the give comparative datails for a free, this "professional" and an enterprise version, where only the enterprise version would have to be even .txt export; so it would be helpful to comment upon the possibility to export your findings from the version sold here, when even .txt doesn't seem to be possible.

So, first, what do you do to hinder the important, ubiquitous search engines like google and yahoo from stopping your program to do its work ? (Since there doesn't seem to be a proxy behind it to automatically do the work by splitting it up between many virtual IP's.)

And what do you do in order to closely track changing of google's / yahoo's algorithms, and which way can buyers of your program profit from your efforts without buying again and again? Perhaps there are free updates for 12 months, and every 12 months, they could by an update of 30 or 40 dollars for having free updates for the 12 months then, and so on? If you did good work in the meanwhile, such a scheme would appear a good deal for your customers.

Alexandra Shkalikova @ Agniesca Rizzolani

If what you mean by a handful of important search engines are the stadard big three (Google, Yahoo! & MSN) then we have to disagree. The number of important search engines is actually much larger than a handful. There are countries where the major search engines are different: Baidu in China, Naver in Korea, Yandex in Russia, etc. If you target these markets, you should care about your rankings in the search engines that are popular there, not Google, however big it is in the US.

Moreover, the results you get in Google.com and in Google.de can be completely different, and if the German market is important to you, you need to know how you rank in the German version of Google. So the number of 'search engines worth every effort' depends on the kind of business you run. If you only cater to the US market, you need to monitor your rankings in one set of search engines, but if you operate worldwide your set of critical search engines grows much larger than a handful.

"So, first, what do you do to hinder the important, ubiquitous search engines like google and yahoo from stopping your program to do its work ?"

There are a number of ways we make sure the tool doesn't get blocked by the search engines:

First, there are search safety features such as human emulation and user agents rotation. You can set up the tool so that it will emulate the behaviour of human searchers: it will go to the homepage of the search engine, will make random pauses between queries and rotate user browsers. This way search engines can't detect that you're using automatic software.

Besides, Rank Tracker supports proxy rotation that allows you to work from behind anonymous proxy servers and rotate them so you can use the tool as much as you need and never get blocked by the search engines.

"And what do you do in order to closely track changing of google's / yahoo's algorithms, and which way can buyers of your program profit from your efforts without buying again and again?"

We have a special department that constantly monitors all of the supported search engines for changes and updates the software in next to no time so that in the overwhelming majority of cases you won't even notice that there was a change in the search engine algos. You can find detailed information about the way search engines updates are done at our website http://www.link-assistant.com

Agnesca Rizzolani I think what they say is right, and that their approach is a professional and intelligent one. I'll be pleased to give it a try which should be perfectly worthwile.

George Nikas I tried the demo and I liked it, what I didn't like is that when I click purchase now - without using bitsdujour discount - using an EU ip the price is 99.75 euros and using a US ip it it 99.75$... The correct price for 99.75$ is 67.71 euros (http://www.xe.com/ucc). So why we Europeans have to pay 50% more than 67.71 euros?

Also, be aware that after six months you will want to extend "live plan". Read their forum for more details about that existing-but-hidden pricing and plans options.

Anyhow, I am thinking of buying it because it seems great and I am thinking of not buying because of their way of "marketing".

Link-Assistant.Com George, USD prices are lower due to taxation and commissions reasons. Still for BDJ the price is only in USD so I don't see a reason why you're worrying so much.
You've got the link to pay not even USD 99.75 but as little as USD 49.95.

As for Live! Plans, the story is just getting too old to be news. Yes, any SEO software requires updates after search engines algo changes, and SEO PowerSuite tools are not an exception. There are just too many tools that don't update at all, meaning than you will simply stop getting good data as soon as Google or another SE slightly tweaks its algos. Our list of users is huge and most of them understand that in this niche, it is necessary to pay maintenance fees if you want high-quality software. BTW, our maintenance prices are currently the lowest across the SEO software market. You can read more about Live! Plans on our website:

George Nikas Thank you for your reply Alexandra, I have no problem paying subscriptions, not at all. In the past I was paying Trellian for their SEO software, I also pay subscriptions for antiviruses, online backup and so on. The difference is that I needed to search your forum to find subscription fees (not all), they are hidden. A link in the product page "Live plan pricing" will do. Before purchasing the product, not after having the keys. Your prices are great, don't hide them.

As for the euro / dollar thing, the only change is VAT (applicable in some countries) which is not 50% and most of the times is calculated at the time of purchase depending on the address of the buyer, not the ip... It seems like 99.75 looks good to the eye...

Don't get me wrong, your product looks great, and the pricing is good too, but your clients are "internet guys" which will do a research and the above looks like tricks.

George Nikas @David, I purchased the suite today and received separate registration codes for every product, so yes, it contains everything.

Link-Assistant.Com Hi everyone and sorry for the late reply (as SEO PowerSuite is going to be on sale here again pretty soon, I guess my answers will still be useful).

@David S
I manage 4 different and unique web sites. Does the professional license allow me to use the tools for SEO on multiple web sites that I manage?

Yes, you can optimize as many websites as you need.

Does the PowerSuite indlude the full versions of each of the 4 products?

Yes, it's just 4 products in a single installer. It doesn't cut off any functionality that you have in any separate product.

@George Nikas

Now I'm getting your point, George. Thanks for your explanation, and for your understanding of our pricing as well.
