NOTE THE SECTION BELOW:

SO... Which is it??? Can it be used for Clients???
or is it ONLY for personal use(and if so, which license does it equate to ie. 12 Expert??? 12 month Business ???)
I tried to get more answers on your website, but the most I could come up with was a 1 month Expert License for $9.97.

T Smith Ok, so installed paid year version, used the emailed user name and password to activate the 12 months, but it is still the same as the free version installed before?? Assume this is an oversight? Do we have to restart the PC installed on, so that Rankaware can be used as in the feature list? Obviously want to change the name on the pdf or pointless exercise. Love the quickness of the GUI and will be doing a proper hands on review shortly :-)

T Smith Yes: Have the free basic, this free year paid one and client install of the paid version [which assume are the same as both $97] which are on 3 different setups and 3 different geo locations, not had a chance to reboot the other 2 yet, so maybe that will solve it! Also noticed that M$ have had 3 updates since last reboots, so that could also be why! will be trying it in a bit ;-)

Chris Roy Jackson Perhaps someone on the "BitsDuJour Staff" could suggest to the developers of the "Offers" here that they could probably get more goodwill AND more sales here if they would check back for comments just prior to their promotion and answer any questions that may have been asked by their potential Customers in the case of any needed clarification of the CONTENT of their offer !!

I asked a question OVER 30 hours ago whose answer will concern EVERYONE who is considering using this product for any commercial use at all !!! (SEE 1st Question above!!!)

Stephen Brown This was given away via two of the other giveaway sites a few weeks ago (Giveawayoftheday and I think it was The Daily Software Giveaway, but it could have been Glarysoft). I installed it and within 5 minutes my Win 8.1 operating system crashed; ( BSOD'ed for the first time ever in Win 8).

I left it for several hours while it said it was creating a crash report, which it never did, so I rebooted and it crashed again within 5 minutes.. I tried several times, but each time within several minutes the computer crashed again.

Rankaware was the only program I'd installed in days, I uninstalled the program and the crashes stopped. T give the program the benefit of doubt, I reinstalled the program an unfortunately the crashes resumed. Others reported similar problems. I couldn't trust such a program again. Pity, as the idea is a good one. I'd have loved to have tried the application. :(

I was trying to do the "Bits Survey just about 10 minutes ago (the timer was showing 1 hour + to go for the offer and I couldn't get the Survey to load when I clicked on the link!!! After trying 3 or 4 times (even re-opening another "Offer Page" [in another "tab"] to make sure that it was properly loaded) it still would not load and then when I clicked the link again it said that the offer was over (even though the timer was still counting down from ONE Hour) !!!
Remember I have been looking at this since Saturday... it's NOT like I just discovered this offer late !!!

If you can help me, Thank You!!

S. Imrick I had no problems installing to a Win8Pro 32-bit system. Running the program with 3 web sites in it, and it's working perfectly. I really like it so far.

Have 1 question: if I set it up for auto updates, does the program have to be open for it to work? In other words, if I want it to update during the night, do I have to leave the program window open, and not close the program?

S. Imrick I had set up the program to auto-update three websites during the early morning hours, each an hour apart. When I returned to the computer I found a runtime error. Any idea what caused this or how to fix?

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Wayne Minett Click on "Account" near bottom left, then on link beside "License type" or "License expires". You will get pop-up to enter registration.

I believe this should also work for the previous case where you upgraded.

Ron User You get FREEWARE at first and it appears you cannot register the software BUT you CAN register it by entering a website URL in the program box and a keyword and then run the ranking THEN click on SETTINGS (which is now magically enabled) and it will trigger a "registration page" which upon entering your registration information you will ...presto...have the fully registered "Business 1.5.2" version.

NOWHERE in the instruction email does not TELL YOU HOW TO REGISTER other than enter the "user name" and "registration code". I think they want to test your IQ or something by making the setup process so Bryzantine.

That said, it looks like it works pretty good. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
