What are people saying about Ransomware Hostage Rescue Manual for IT Pros

s User Tried to download this offer, but it refuses to let me enter my email address. I work from home and use a separate email for the business. It will not recognize the address. You have to fill out a lengthily form to get it too...the process is almost like ransom ware itself! Not worth jumping through all the hoops.

Constantin Florea I am sorry but we (BitsDuJour) do not control the requirements of the TradePub deals. We only direct our customers to the deal page on the TradePub website.

Since we cannot update anything regarding the requirements of this deal, I've just contacted the actual vendor of the product as he will be able to better help with the issues you mention.

conceptualclarity When is TradePub going to enter the 21st century and recognize that not everybody works for a company?

Rick Truell I agree that it's pretty pathetic that one HAS to fill out company information even though one might not work for a company, but the solution is very simple...make stuff up. That's what I did (it's been nearly 3 decades since I've worked for a company) and I've never once been questioned about it.

That I (and undoubtedly others) lied about info on their form is probably something that BDJ and TradePub doesn't want to hear. They're just going to have to accept the reality that when people are forced to answer questions that don't apply to them in order to get something they want...they lie.
