Adrian Williams Thanks Nico. It came through as a Mac app on emails and was shown as PC&Mac under the top icon.
Shame though. I'd have been interested in this.
I'm trying to avoid having to use parallels on my Mac.
Best of luck to Bluementals on the sale - I've got some of their software and it's good. ;)

Preston Mitchell KEY QUESTIONS for DEVELOPER

As a user of other Blummy software, I am a big fan. So, I approach Rapid SEO Tool with a friendly attitude and very open mind. HOWEVER, I do have questions.

1. FREQUENCY OF UPDATES
Most SEO tools are subscription based. Their justification is the fact that search engines often change their algorithms, which has been especially true with Google this past year. SO HOW WELL DOES RAPID SEO TOOLS KEEP UP WITH SEARCH ENGINE CHANGES? (Your software is an extreme bargain compared to subscription SEO services...but only if you update every time Google throws a monkey wrench into the works.)

2. HOW MANY SEARCH ENGINES DOES RAPID SEO TOOLS SUPPORT? That is a key consideration. Market Samuari supports about 3...while SEO PowerSuite supports nearly 300 (supposedly).

LASTLY, it was disconcerting to not find any user reviews on Rapid SEO Tools, not even on CNET. Heck, no comments here yet either. If your software is not selling well, I worry that it could be cancelled someday soon...and then what is purchased today becomes obsolete tomorrow.

Please reply. Adding another useful Blummy software to my collection for a big discount is attractive...IF!

Karlis Blumentals Too little too late, but...

1) Frequency of updates - every few months or so. Since the software is based on checking compliance with general principles (that do not change often) rather than exploiting particular algorithmic flaws and properties of search engines, it helps (to some degree) with any version of any search engine and if we learn some new strong evidence about some things that work better, we will update our software.

2) Rapid SEO Tool supports any search engine that relies on keywords and valid content. What it does, it ensures that your content is valid and appealing. If it is valid and appealing and complies to core principles in the first place, it will be considered by most search engines.

3) Yes, it only analyzes how good your site is for your chosen keywords, it also includes guide how to choose best keywords, but it *can not* do that automatically yet. There are special services and tools for keyword mining, I'd rather suggest though to put yourself in the shoes of your customers and choose your keywords by applying common sense rather than automatic mining.

DrTeeth Unfortunately, one cannot tell how good this software is with a brief trial. Also, the more people use it the less of an edge on has.

If I understand well, I can use Rapid Seo Tool indefinitely. But after 6 months without payed upgrade could be problems with search engines.

Karlis Blumentals The tool should work with other languages, although it has not been tested. You can use it indefinitely, however free-upgrade-protection lasts 6 months, but upgrades are not mandatory.

Karlis Blumentals There is no limit on the number of sites.

The software currently focuses on content, thus there is no submission tool, however nowadays there is no need for submission tools as major search engines will find your site fairly quickly, besides you can use an external submission tool (if it makes you feel more comfortable), or use the means provided by search engines directly.

David Vaughan Older comments and answers indicate that one computer license can be used to optimize unlimited websites. If this is still true, what is the advantage of the Rapid SEO Tool 3-pack? David Vaughan I think I found my own answer by going to their website. The regular license is good for unlimited commercial use on one computer and one laptop. Karlis Blumentals Currently there is no German version, but it should work just fine with German SEO projects. We do plan to localize to German language, but have not yet managed to do this.

Meindert User Hmmm, installed the trial version and looked fine. But the results are totally different as results from Semrush - example: tried with wome keywords and SEO rapid states for alle keywords "below page 2" while semrush places all searches in top ten....

Meindert User Yes confirm that the results seem "crap"; tried with an other website - definitely ranking position 1 (not only page 1) on google.nl and tested with "free monitor for google" but Seo Rapid still states "below page 2".

Karlis Blumentals The results can be influenced by location. E.g. U.S.-based checker will look from U.S. while EU-based checker will look from EU. Also you must specifically configure the software to use google.nl, because by default it will check google.com and there maybe you are not on the front page.

Meindert User Results should not be influenced by location. Not that much. Yes, I already entered google.nl as search engine but result is the same: for all searches "below page 2"; Even one of the most popular webpages "marktplaats.nl" scores "below page 2" for "advertentie plaatsen". Just not working. Expect google.nl to be "below page 2" for keyword "google" on google.nl

Meindert User Yes, google.nl has position "below page 2" for keyword "google" in search engine on google.nl.... Ok, that is funny although sad and true but more important to be is that also "meta description" and all other information does not correspond with the facts. Example my website dewebmeester.nl for which the software claims to have no title, metadescription and even no h1 till h6 and keyword count of 0% and of course ranking "below page 2" (ranking position 2 on page 1 tested with Semrush and free monitor for google. Worked for ten years with SEO software but never experienced something like this.

Karlis Blumentals I've passed these test samples to our developers. It certainly does seem that there might be a glitch, possibly because you use redirect or https. We shall correct this.

Right now I have Rapid SEO Tool on my computer and it is monitoring our other software page (http://www.rapidphpeditor.com) for keywords "php editor" and it seems to work just fine (both conent-wise and position-monitoring-wise), so we must investigate what is special for your case.

One thing worth mentioning is that if you enter http://domain.com and the actual site found is http://www.domain.com or https://www.domain.com/nl/ or http://www.domain.com/something.html then this will not work, perhaps we must change this to cover all occurrences even redirects, however currently redirects and https are not yet supported.

Meindert User Confirm: yes I use redirect (all http is redirected to https) and I use mullilingual settings (.nl is redirected to .nl/nl or .nl/en etc depending on visitors location). How could I test a website like this with your software? Should I enter https://www.dewebmeester.nl/nl as domain? Expect the software to crawl all url's which are part of a domain and not just the domain which I enter. This example is not that "weird". Many websites are using redirect because of https and because of multilingual settings.
