Virus Scan for RealWorld Photos

S B I use the RealWorld Icon Editor, surprisingly powerful and easy and efficient. The RW developers have a great sense for what needs to be done as well as quickly getting there.

They've leveraged their image processing and workflow expertise to nearly automate image processing for the web.

Photoshop has very big guns, but I like the idea of RW Photos' easy, broad range of retouching/batch-processing/color-effects/imports/tools; transformations that don't further degrade jpgs; and the ability to switch to Photoshop-style layers/masks/opacity, just brushing where I want the effects.

I think these will help my sites have images that are both better-looking and more current .

This Pro version is a steal--I'm in!

peter schleifer Sorry, my fault, it's MINUS 49,03, but then, the remaining price is not mentioned, that's why I misunderstood.

DrTeeth Updates can be VERY slow to appear. "Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for 60 months" is not the steal you would expect. It was over 2 years ago when I purchased the Icon Editor and no updates or upgrades have been released since then. From posts I have seen in the forums, an upgrade has been a work in progress for a long time.

Vlastimil Milér It is true that the new version of the icon editor is taking longer than I would wish. The icon editor is the most complex of the RW tools and the next version is going to support vector and 3D layers in addition to the usual raster layers. Getting the 3D layers done is more difficult than it appeared to be, but there is no going back now. The 5 years of free upgrades is the minimum guaranteed.

DroidLuvr I haven't used the RW Photo program yet, and I have a ton of similar programs from giveaways, etc. HOWEVER, since I am so impressed with the RW Icon Editor program I purchased (even if the update is quite slow,) I'm going to buy today's promotion untested.

You can't beat the support, help, and information -- or the quality-- of RW items!!

And, no, I have no personal connection with the developer; I didn't even recognize his name here ;( but I do know quality software, and this developer does too!!

To anyone on the fence: don't hesitate - I'm confident this is worth much more than the very minimal price today!!

Gray Lox Thanks for this deal :)

I tried this programme a while back and was impressed.
Though I don't do much with my photos at the moment, I couldn't resist and got this great offer.

Robert User WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS

I purchased the product yesterday (2015-10-08) but also did not receive the serial number as promised in the receipt (within seconds). I verified that the expected e-mail did not end up in the Junk/SPAM folder. After several hours of waiting, I contacted support to request the serial number, and also pointed out that it is NOT specified if the buyer downloads the trial from their website or a different download URL is provided (some developers have a different version for the trial).

After some more hours passed, the response came with a serial number, claiming the e-mail was a "copy" of the original, but the correct URL to download the setup program was not explained.

I tried downloading the trial version from their website, but it continues to time out with a "Failed" status, due to an excessive projected download time. I have paused, rebooted, restarted the download, and it always results in a "Failed" status. I have captured the download times, showing that the projected download time has been from 5 hours to 5 days (I am in the U.S.).

Hosting is relatively inexpensive these days, and certainly for a software product being sold, it should be easily accessible with reasonable download times from anywhere in the world. What this company is doing is uncalled for.

I used network checking tools to investigate this issue. The download site is in the Czech Republic, Region Jihocesky kraj, City Hluboka nad Vltavou. I am not aware of any major hosting companies in that city, so the location may be out of someone's home possibly. Regardless, the developer had better get on the ball, and soon, and tell everyone that purchased the program where it can be downloaded here in the U.S. without any delays.

Otherwise, ... If "Bad Publicity" is truly better than no publicity at all, then this developer is about to have all the publicity it can handle.

I would appreciate any assistance from Bits du Jour with this issue.

Vlastimil Milér FYI the website is NOT hosted at home and was up all the time with connection speed of 1Gbit. If you are having problems downloading the installer, they are not the website's fault. Try clearing you browser cache, do not use download "accelerators" and possibly turn off a proxy if you are using one or if your internet provider uses one. You do not need different download. If you did need it, it would be provided.

The email with serial number was a copy and I received it in my gmail inbox as I receive copies of all purchase emails (to be sure that everything works as it should). I am sorry it took me a couple of hours to resend it, I was simply sleeping. Considering there is a 30 day evaluation period with no restrictions on the program functionality, I believe no harm was done.
