Elena Pakhomova Data recovery from an SSD differs from hard drive recovery because modern SSD devices use TRIM command. ReclaiMe Ultimate is capable of recovering data from SSD, however with some limitations:
1. If SSD was accidentally formatted, TRIM deletes data irreversibly and no recovery is possible.
2. In case of deleted files on NTFS, TRIM affects non-resident files while resident (small) files can be are recovered

In case of filesystem failure (RAW filesystem), ReclaiMe can recover data.

Lito @Cary Adams Yeah this is a pricey program, but it is really worth it when you need it. For recovery of regular hard drives it is the best I have used and it has recovered data properly from various different OSes like Linux and Mac drives. If you are looking only for a simple undelete then of course there are cheap and free utilities that can do that, but if you are recovering data from a dying HDD with tons of errors, this is what you will need to be using. There are other tools that can do similar and I have several, but none have recovered more working files than this one. The other tools I have do work but they aren't that great at recovering usable data, they'll give you more broken files, files that are split randomly into several hundred pieces, incomplete files, etc. It was worth the price of admission for me as it has recovered data that otherwise would have been permanently lost.

paul User Yes I agree, after my Nas box died… This is the only software that I have found that is capable of recovering the folder structure with the data. This means that you only have to recover the data from the required folders and you don’t have a large mess to sift through.
