What are people saying about Recomposit

Chris Locke This actually looks the most complicated software ever. The 'whizzy' effects when you double click a directory are also annoying. Prefer the more simplistic software of Inpaint, etc.

Chen Qi You can disable the animation in setup of the menu-program.

John H Inpaint is a great little program but very light weight which is good in many circumstances.

Recomposite has other functions than just removing background images.
Defog area contrast adjustment
ISO noise reduction
HDR merge

The website is just a jumble of features which makes it hard to find what this program does.

I found no way to re skin this. All the technical functions are there though. It is a bit like the ribbon interface and maybe a bit like GIMP with numerous little function windows. I like what it does and maybe will replace other programs for me. I see that it will take a while to develop my work flow. Perhaps there is a method to the developers interface madness.

This is a powerful program with layers which none of my other photo programs have and like my CAD program needs the extra function windows. But there is still no excuse for the oversize function icons wasting screen real estate.

I hope the developer comes back to address the workflow and interface issue in some detail beyond what is shown in the meager help section on the interface.

You might try an uninstall and reinstall and try to get the activation box again.

MBe Is this not the latest Version 9.01? Are there Version Differences (v6, v9) for Standard and Pro as the latest Releases?

MBe I have installed the demos (both Standard and Pro) in a VM. Both have Version 9.01 - I have later seen, that there is a Demo for every Version, a Standard and an extra Pro Demo ... and BTW Franzis (it is CutOut 9) has also Version 9

L. D. User The information for list program listing is unfortunately rather lacking, so I have a few questions that other users might also find useful having the answers to.

1 ) Will this work on Windows 10?

As it only states "Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8"... so is the listed information above correct, or is it out of date?

2 ) Also, as this is licensed per User and NOT per computer, is there any limit on how many personally owned computers this can be installed on?

3 ) What (if any) is the update policy with regard to this purchase? As it isn't mentioned in The Fine Print. Or are you not permitted to update the program once you've purchased it?

4 ) Is there any limitation on when this has to be installed by? Or can it be installed anytime?

5 ) Are you allowed or able to re-install the program in the event that the operating system needs to be fully re-installed from scratch for some (whatever) reason, and if so, is there any limit on the number of times the program can be re-installed if necessary?

6 ) Is there any refund policy offered by the company if the program fails to perform to the standard claimed and described above in the description?

7 ) And finally, what's the difference between the Standard Version and the Professional Version of the program... given that the Pro Version normally costs $119 US Dollars when it's not being discounted, which is actually quite a lot of money for an image editing program (even for a full professional one) as even Paint Shop Pro only retails for $89.90 US Dollars full price!

Is there a comparison list somewhere that shows or indicates the difference between the Standard and Pro versions? Also, can either of the versions be used as plug-ins with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro etc.by any chance?

Hoping at least a couple of my questions will get answered by the company.

Continue being responsible and sensible in order to stay safe everyone.

BlackOpz 1) I'm using on Win10 - WORKS FINE

7) The Pro version has an editor that you'll want.

Overall it works pretty good even though a couple of the BG removal websites will give it a run for the money. Def worth this one-time price.

BlackOpz Works VERY well. Here's a qwik-dirty I did inner/outer borders on. Notice how nice the glass turned out and that was done by the algo. I didn't trace for it. Also the hair off the back was filtered by the algo. The only areas that need any cleanup are the legs and I prob could have done a better mask marking since I wasn't as precise as I was on the upper half. In any event those legs edges are super easy to clean up and this was created with a very sloppy mask. Def worth it.

soo mi Chen Qi, does Recomposit Pro have some/any/all of the features of your Stepok Picture Enlarger 3.2 app integrated into it? If not, do you have any plans to offer Stepok Picture Enlarger 3.2 on BDJ?

Eric Dear Chen Qi,

As upgrades are limited to one year, I tried to check - at your Web site - the product's Change Log (to get a feeling of how often upgrades are released, as well as when this current version saw the light); regretfully, I failed to find the info I was looking for ...

Can you please enlighten?

Also, what is your policy for the upgrades beyond the 1st year?

Thanks,

Eric

eb235 Hello

Ten hours before the official end of the deal, I got the following error "Discount coupon: Code has expired" when I tried to purchase Recomposit Pro (same with Recomposit standard).

Could please someone (BDJ/Chen Qi) amend this (by providing a new code, or accepting the old one, or ...) ?

Thank you in advance !

Eric Dear Chen Qi,

Thanks for the reply.

Regretfully, it doesn't address my concerns:

1. Where can a Change Log / Version History be found?
2. When was the current version released?
3. What is your policy (read: what's the price) for upgrades after the 1st year from initial purchase expires?

Thanks again,

Eric
