Once you lost data or got your disk formatted accidentally, it's highly recommended to stop using the disk and scan it with RecoverXData as soon as possible before the data is overwritten.
The earlier you scan and recover, the more chance you will get back the lost data.

The program is cake to use and does a great job, for what it's intended. Contrary to common believe, data is lost, if it's over written, doesn't matter what program you use, so if you delete something, make sure, you restore it as quick as possible through a program like this.

1. Download RecoverXData using the link provided in the email containing your registration code.
2. Ensure there are no extra spaces before or after the registration code when entering it.

RichU I appreciate the offer, but are there any recovery programs that can show the file structure? I have tons of files, but often, the file name, and even the file type doesn't tell me enough about what the file does. The underlying file structure, IE: C:\Users\Documents\Health\Breathing would give me a clue about the data I am looking at.

JW Can this program be installed onto a USB thumb drive - and run directly from there as a portable app? This would potentially obviate any chance of overwriting any data on a system's HDD (or indeed any other storage medium!) where the data that needs to be recovered may be held.
