Andre Provost Can it work on Windows 8?

May 26 2013 at 1:21pm Copy Link

Valentina Wallace I bought Resume Works Pro today.I tried to install Resume Works Pro on Windows 8. After installing it and registering I got the message that this software is not compatible with Windows 8.
After that I tried to install Resume Works Pro on Windows 7 (64 bit) PC. Still no success. Getting the message : "This program requires a missing Windows component". After trying to fix this I got another message from Windows 7: Your version of Microsoft Deprecated DLL components isn't compatible with this version of Windows. I noticed that the installation file is very old - January 7, 2011. I would like to get the refund since I have trouble installing this software. How can I get the refund?

Andre Provost I bought the program for my wife but we have not installed it yet. Reading the comment from Valentina, I noticed that her computer was 64 bit. My wife's windows 8 computer is also 64 bit. Have you tried it on Windows 8 64 bit?

Valentina Wallace Andre,

My Windows 8 is Windows 8 Professional 32 bit, not 64 bit . My Windows 7 is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I can't make this program working on either machine.

I am working with company's technical support right now on this issue. No success so far:(
