Virus Scan for Rohos Logon Key PRO & Rohos Disk Encryption PRO

Portable App User I purchased the Disk Encryption Pro the last time it was offered here. I recommend the program, especially for anyone carrying around files with personal information on a USB drive. Also very useful to lockdown portions of your hard drive. This bundle offers the Logon Key pro for almost the same price - seems like a great deal at $25.
As I recall the application could be installed on up to 3 computers.

Mario Demi Rohos Disk Encryption PRO is version 2.9 now.
Is a upgrade to version 3 free or paid?

bvssunnydale When questions get asked and there's no quick reply, it tells me that this is one vendor that, under no circumstances, would I be willing to trust. And this is software that can lock you out of your machine and that, if it fails you need instant support. Why offer a discount on a day you're not available to answer (to be expected) questions?

K Anderson Since Softpedia already shows that version 3.0 was released today, can we also assume that we are getting a license for version 3?

Kevin User This license can activate version 3. But I still have questions about their policy. What is THE FINE PRINT? Nothing here. It is strange.

Caliosso Matossa Hi,

Thanks in advance for your answer to the following questions :

The android app not updated since 2016 ? https://play.google.com/s...hos.logon1.

Where can we read the changelogs of these 2 desktop apps ?

Is the smartphone approach still valid then https://www.rohos.com/201...martphone/ ?

Is Yubikey 4 supported ?
What added value over yubikey support by microsoft hello?

Is the licence per computer and can we use it on a set of computers ?
In a virtual machine environement we access remotly from a laptop with, let's say teamviewer for example, how rohos logon can help in that context to secure access to the vm ?

What will be the update price for each of these applications ?

Caliosso Matossa Does Rohos Logon include feature of Yubikey Monitor https://sourceforge.net/p...onistd-gt/, ie detects a currently connected Yubikey, monitors it's presence and locks the workstation when it is removed. It also prevents login on unless the right Yubikey is reinserted.

Caliosso Matossa Did you test against Yubico Windows Login Tool to have a comparison matrix.
This was one of your goal in 2016.

Caliosso Matossa Can we declare several yubikey ?

Licence corresponds to the one on the middle in this table, right ? https://www.rohos.com/sup...on-matrix/

The is this feature : Windows Remote Desktop 2FA login on Windows 7/8/10. Do you mean we can use Logon Key PRO on some remote vm and use a local usb yubikey to logon on the remote vm ?

Any answer to this question would be nice. Like many, I do not want to purchase a product that will be upgraded in less than one year and have to pay again.

Caliosso Matossa Hello, 4% off for $28.44 represent a discount applied on the regular releases not the pro while the deal offer the pro, that's a contradiction.

Caliosso Matossa Paing $28.44 for the pro releases represent around 81%, not 64%

Rajeev Dugar You have mentioned Platforms: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS X 10.4
Which essentially means that this does not work on most of the Platforms in use presently like Windows 10, 11 and Mac OS X 10.5 to 10.11 and Mac OS 10.12 to Mac OS 14.

Is the software subscription based or lifetime. Are upgrades to newer hardware and OS discounted or the full version of the software is required to be purchased.
