Frank E. "You must install/register the software while the promotion is active, and cannot do so afterwards."

This is always a deal killer for me.

Steve Smith I installed and activated the software. However, I am not impressed. The main screen has pictures and no menu with words. There is no help file (not even mouse over help or hints). How am I supposed to know what to do with it?

John Hood Constantin Florea

I bought the Scan2Encrypt (up to 3 users) - Free minor upgrades and commercial use allowed ($9.97) this morning through Paypal. It does not work well with my Canon printer/scanner and HP interface. The program will not let me scan but one page at a time and then I have to shut down and start up again to do a second and separate page. I don't like the program. How do I obtain a refund please?

BinaryNow You can scan multiple pages two ways. 1. Use a document feeder (this has to be part of your scanner) or 2. After you scan first page, click on "+" on the top and it will allow you to add more pages to the document before you create PDF file. Your scanner has to support TWAIN 1.8 or higher. Most of HP and Canon do. If you have any problem please contact us by email at supportbinarynow.com
Scan2Encrypt call on background you original scan software. This has to be functional first or Scan2Encrypt cannot scan pages.

John Hood To: Constantine and BinaryNow. No doc feeder available; each page is laid on glass for scanning by hand. Hitting the + mark did not bring up the ability to scan a second page.

It in fact locked the HP software and I could not finish and save the first page. Had to kill the scan program in Task manager to get out and close the scan screeen. It just doesn't work smoothly or at all beyond one page for my hardware and software which I admit is about 6 years old.

Scanning without your software is functional and does allow multiple page scanning into one pdf doc on my hardware. So, I know HP and scanning by laying on Canon glass does work. Just not with your software. I can easily encrypt with my separate 3rd party software, so I wish to start the process of a refund please. Thank you.

BinaryNow You do not save first page, you click on "+" and scan more pages, one by one and once you have all pages scanned, then you click next and create one PDF file. You have to click "+" before each page your scan and HP software will start again to scan next page. I understand that it may be some problem when our software expect HP software to response and it does not since it is older and may not be compatible with current operating system or if you scanner went into sleep mode.

If your software already create a PDF, then try to open it in PDF Impress Tools and then apply PDF security. This is part of PDF Impress 10 package. You can learn more and download trial here:

Thank you for trying our software.

BinaryNow When you click "+" Scan2Encrypt calls HP software, if no correct response is provided, our software may freeze. If you want to troubleshoot this, please contact us at supportbinarynow.com.

My recommendation is to try PDF Impress 10. PDF Impress 10 has a build-in scan with OCR capabilities, so you may be able to scan directly into PDF Impress Tools and then apply security or do other PDF manipulation. Here is tip how:
