Indigo Rose is currently offering a 20% discount for Scrapbook MAX! on their website. However, if you purchase through Bits today, you'll receive an extra 30% on top of that, bringing the total discount to a whopping 50%!

Perhaps you think the process of scrapbooking is too intimate to be moved to a digital format, or perhaps you're worried that a digital scrapbooking software package will stifle your creativity. Or perhaps you're worried that a scrapbooking software package will just be too complicated.

Consider this: what if there was scrapbooking software that let you choose from beautiful page templates, or no template at all? What if there was scrapbooking software that offered the tools and effects of some very well-known (and very expensive) photo-editing software titles?

Well, there is: Scrapbook MAX! 2.0. And it will change your mind about digital scrapbooking.

Unlike the fonts, embellishments and paper you might find in a craft store, Everything in Scrapbook MAX! 2.0 can be modified. That means the color, size, orientation, curve, alignment and opacity of all 500+ embellishments, 1,840+ paper scraps 100+ Backgrounds, 475+ Shapes, and 40+ fonts can be molded to fit your personalized page!

And if that's not enough, just scan/import your own elements for maximum creativity. The possibilities are literally endless.

Now that's a big craft store!

But in a craft store that big, the bills would add up pretty quick. Not here. Scrapbook MAX! 2.0 gives you everything you need in one affordable package to make vibrant and exciting pages for years to come. And no more worrying about acidic paper, cheap glue and decaying elements. With Scrapbook MAX! 2.0 you can print a traditional scrapbook or save it as a digital slideshow.

Indigo Rose Software Hello Peter,

The review at http://scrapbooking-softw...eviews.com is **NOT** correct. While current pricing information and screenshots are displayed, the text, features, and overall review have not been updated since what appears to be our initial v1.0 release. While we have attempted to contact the webmaster many times to have the information updated, we have received no response. It appears as though one has to pay in order to have accurate information displayed.

Please visit http://www.scrapbookmax.com for up-to-date information, tutorial videos, etc.

Regards,
Scrapbook MAX! (Indigo Rose Software)

Indigo Rose Software You can change the default path, but this is not an officially supported feature.

By default, the "Scrapbook MAX!" directory inside of your My Documents folder is used. If you want to change this location, first create a text file called "user.ini" and place it in ...Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Data. Inside of this ini file, add the following 2 lines of text:

[Folders]
BaseFolder=MyNewFolderPath

where "MyNewFolderPath" is the new folder path you would like to use to save your files (eg. BaseFolder=D:\Scrapbook MAX!) If you still want to access all of your current files, go into your current documents folder and copy the 3 folders "Projects," "Published Files," and "Templates" into your newly created folder.

Regards,
Scrapbook MAX! (Indigo Rose Software)

_*_ Would you please explain what the Policy of "No upgrades" means exactly? No incremental upgrades or no whole number upgrades? How much are future upgrades (e.g. full price, half off, etc), or are there no plans for further upgrades? Thanks

Indigo Rose Software Hi MB - Any minor updates (e.g. bug fixes, minor features) are included for free, but major version upgrades are not included. In the past, we have offered a 50% discount on the upgrade though. You can expect a similar or better deal in the future on upgrades. So, in short, we make sure we take care of our customers.  And, to be clear, there are definitely plans for continued updates and upgrades (Scrapbook MAX! is growing daily in popularity!), but v2.0 is still very new and cutting edge, so don't worry about a v3.0 coming out next week or something!

Tazzie I have been trying out the software, and I do enjoy some features.  However, I do like to use a lot of my own backgrounds and some embellishments that I already have, but I am having difficulty figuring out how to insert them into the working scrap page.  My question is ... are we able to use pages, embellishments, templates, etc., that were not created initially as part of this software?

Ulrich Yes, you can use any image you already have, build your own templates and share them with other users... you find plenty of them in the user forums!

Indigo Rose Software Hi Tazzie - Yes, Ulrich is correct. With Scrapbook MAX you can import any popular graphics format (JPG, PNG, TIF, GIF, PSD etc) and use them in your layouts. It's 100% compatible with with all the digital scrapbooking kits out there (those are mostly PNG and JPG files), plus our templates are all fully editable.

Tazzie I did some reading on the website, and see where I can import my own designs to mix and match.  I like how some things can be done faster and easier than in the graphics editing programs, but still like to have the flexibility of including my own designs.

april hollingshead I have been using Scrapbook Max 1. I want to know if I can get an upgrade to 2 for a discount. The programs is easy to use, my daughter loves to use it. I have no problems using my own papers and embellishments. Dragging a Drooping is the easy and the quickest way to do it.
