Alex Ferri ScreenCamera.Net is like a canvas. You add objects to it. Screen capture is an object. Webcam capture is another object. A Video file is another object. Images, text, shapes. It works with layers much like Photoshop. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you get the first steps you find it a very powerful tool. You can watch basic video tutorials here:

Peter C1 TO PURCHASE this According to the DETAiLS in the POLiCY BOX on the BdJ page would be a joke and THE POLiCiES should really be clarified:

Q1. After Purchase You can only use the program for 1 month? come on you've got to be joking

Q2. is the purchase for Per USER or Per Computer because YOU CANT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

Q3. Why would you need UNLiMiTED installations with a PER COMPUTER license (now it does make more sense if it is per user)

Only 2 Years of use before having to fork out a non-discounted $75 bucks for an update or possible upgrade is really taking the urine (i.m.h.o.) especially when the vendor often release their program on giveawayoftheday for free

I understand that Policies HAVE NORMALLY BEEN WRITTEN IN THE PAST by Bitsdujour people, but the following parts of policy just contradict themselves (again i.m.h.o.):

* After you make a purchase of this BitsDuJour discount promotion, ScreenCamera.Net may be used for 1 month.

* ScreenCamera.Net is licensed PER COMPUTER, and NOT PER USER.

* Each license allows installation on all owned computers, and ScreenCamera.Net may be used at exactly the same time on each of them.

* Transfer of a license to another owned computer is allowed.
* Email license activation is required with a hardware footprint, and unlimited installations per footprint. what's this?

* Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for 24 months. For versions after that, upgrades will require additional payment, which will not be discounted.

Peter C1 Sorry but I have to add one more comment:

Payment only by PayPal means NOT BEING ABLE to BUY AS A GiFT or to license in a name not on your credit card.

RegNOW used to be offered on the Vendors OTHER PC WinSoft website which did allow purchase and delivery as a different name.

Google Checkout (which means similar fees to PayPal) does offer the buyer purchase in a different name or purchase as a gift.

Please consider alternatives because THERE's NO FLEXiBiLiTY with a PayPal PURCHASE although it will no doubt be to late for this almost expired promotion.

Thank You.

Alex Ferri There was a confusion. The software after purchased can be used forever. 2 years of free updates after which if interested the user pays 40% of the product price.

Michael R. I'm interested at the included(?) SDK. Do you have a link with some information and some basic-examples, preferably in C. Is it available as a DLL too?

I suppose it's included only for own usage and a a distribution of a self-written application together would cost additional (royalties). How much would this be?

Sep 14 2012 at 3:22am Copy Link

0

Alex Ferri The SDK is not included on the package being sold on this promotion.

You can download the SDK build from here:
http://www.pcwinsoft.com/...-Setup.exe

About licencing: One unique key registers ScreenCamera SDK on any number of PCs. The condition is: The total number of PCS registered with the unique key of the Company in one unique point in time can not exceed the number of concurrent seats purchased.

The order page is:
http://www.pcwinsoft.com/.../order.asp

The way it works is via sockets TCP through a well documented protocol. You will find the protocol documentation after the SDK installation.

The SDK is not under promotion here, but I can grant you a discount if you are interested.

J S POLiCY BOX DETAiLS: '' ... Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for 12 months. ..."

Q1. Have You considered offering a "Life of the Product License" purchase option which entitles the buyer to free major upgrades & of course minor updates for the "Life of the Product"?

A growing number of vendors offering their products on Bitsdujour offer such a lifetime license usually for 50% more of the purchase price, and it gives the user peace of mind and the vendor a locked in user base AND increased funding.

For example todays deal price plus 50%extra.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I may be wrong but i thought there was also something with your software that only allowed the user to use the program for 3 years, but it is not mentioned in the POLiCY BOX.

Catherine McClarey I had this on my computer at one point (would have been even more useful had it been installed on my laptop, though; my desktop computer has no webcam, so I couldn't use that feature of this program). If you think you might be interested in this product - but not $20.00 interested yet, at least try the trial version and get on the publisher's email list. I still get the publisher's emails, and each day they heavily discount one of their products by 70%-90% off - including this product sometimes.

Sep 16 2012 at 4:27pm Copy Link

Alex Ferri Sure: You can use ScreenCamera.Net to brand your company logo at on-line video conferences.

You can use ScreenCamera.Net to broadcast directly to the Internet.

You can use ScreenCamera.Net to take pictures from any monitor of any size and print them.

You can use ScreenCamera.Net to stream videos and audio tracks.

You can use ScreenCamera.Net to create cool effects like rolling texts, animations, and transitions.

You can use ScreenCamera.Net scheduler so that you can record content when you are not present.

And it does not stop in there: ScreenCamera.Net comes equiped with a powerful technology of frame-by-frame animation of any object much like Abobe Flash does and then it's up to you to have fun with it;

You can check video tutorials here:
http://screencamera.net/s...tutorials/

The program has a considerable learning curve but after you master it you will notice the infinity of uses it can have.

I saw You reply (I thank You for Your considered thoughts) and assuming that are in the throws of making a decision on offering such a Life of the Product/Lifetime, then I'll hold off buying today, but will happily do so once you have made a decision YES or NO.

I would be happy to buy today, if I knew that I would be entitled to upgrade to the lifetime license when it is introduced, but that is too "iffy" and depends too much on You making a decision.

As You do have some interesting product offerings.

I did suggest a similar idea to a number of vendors and those who took up the idea found that the option was taken up by approximately 50 to 60% of their new customers.

You have my email address (I think) so please let me know when or if You have made a decision.

Petr Hi,
A great price if it does what you describe. I currently use Camtasia, which is 10x the price but works well.

My questions:

Q1: What does your software do that Camtasia doesn't? Please reply with full details.

Q2: Does your software work on a Windows PC (Win 8.1) that has multiple displays, each with a different resolution? Some of my displays are hi-res with 2880x1620, display #2 is 1920x1080...

Q3: Does it store the captured video in a compressed file format? If I record a webinar, the recording can be 2 or more hours long so a compressed video file is important to save disk space.

Q4: I understand your software can broadcast video from my computer. How many viewers can see the broadcast concurrently?

Q5: Can you software be used instead of GoToMeeting to conduct online webinars? If 'yes' what are the limitations? For example, is there a chat components where viewers can ask questions?

Thanks.

ScreenCamera.Net allows for live real-time customized content to record and share.

Yes, ScreenCamera.Net supports multiple monitors.

Q3: Does it store the captured video in a compressed file format? If I record a webinar, the recording can be 2 or more hours long so a compressed video file is important to save disk space.
You can configure the video output size and quality to your exact needs. It is very tunable.

Q4: I understand your software can broadcast video from my computer. How many viewers can see the broadcast concurrently?
There is no limit to the number of clients watching your live video stream.

Q5: Can you software be used instead of GoToMeeting to conduct online webinars? If 'yes' what are the limitations? For example, is there a chat components where viewers can ask questions?

Norwel Gordon @Alex Ferri You advised "Certain e-mail services are not time reliable and may take even more than 24 hours to deliver an e-mail. The e-mail with the KEY was sent to your e-mail address and should arrive sometime in the future."

I suggest you sign up with a RELIABLE e-mail service provider before you offer again on BDJ or send required keys through BDJ. Email from BDJ arrives promptly.

Searching your website I have not been able to locate a full copy of your EULA or a comparison of the features available in your several similar video products.

Please let us know where this information is available. Thank You.

jgt1942 I'm about to give up on this software. I've attempted to install a few times, when I do I get "Error: Access violation at 0x004652A8 (tried to write to 0x00000068), program terminated." I've uninstalled after each attempt. In the Process Explorer I see at least three "CanUpdate.exe" and three "ScrCamNet.exe" running. Before attempting to install I ensure that none of the PCWinSoft software is running. I'm currently uninstalling. I'm running Win10 x64 with the Oct update.

Ann I couldn't get it to install properly. I just locked up on my screen and I couldn't get it to go away. Had to shut the computer down, then uninstall. : (

Joe User Unlike some software on BDJ, this one actually registered as described on the BDJ website. It did take a long time to complete the install, so long that I thought it had crashed. But not so. I dont have a web cam to use this with but I want it only for the screen recording capability.

RichU For those who are having trouble running the program... I haven't installed yet, but in the description above, it states "please note that Windows 10 does not load ScreenCamera.Net video driver properly if the Power Option Feature 'Fast Startup' is turned on."
just a heads up!

HJ User The fine print says:

"ScreenCamera.Net is licensed per computer, and not per user.

"Each license allows installation on all owned computers, and ScreenCamera.Net may be used at exactly the same time on each of them."

These statements appear to be be inconsistent,

Na Zapisz Hi there. Does one need this software to be installed on a receiving end to watch the ScreenCamera.Net stream? Is 3rd party web hosting service needed to stream? How does it work? Thanks.

Jan 16 2022 at 11:16am Copy Link

Alex Ferri No, ScreenCamera.Net is a camera on your end. You can stream on YouTube and the other end watch it, for example.

Hubert CANEVET On BitsDuJour we see ScreenCamera.Net, but after installation we get Youtube Readytogo Cam, and the software requires a registration at each use.
Im am not sure about anything common between both concepts.

Saludos.
