Minion User I'm currently using their Freemium version and very happy with the 12 antivirus engines that they are offering! Very light weight. Just that initial scanning may be slightly slow but subsequently, every scan is quick and scan and they continuously scan it for 24/7. Interestingly, their Application Whitelisting is something that every user can use and manage it. So far the easiest one I would say. Nothing much to configure but just unblock or continue block whenever I run a new application and it will automatically be added to the whitelist. This gives me full control of my computer.
Works well with my Bitdefender which they promised that it is compatible with any antivirus! Edit: I didn't use their offline antivirus since I already have my own one. Therefore, you shouldn't shun this software even though you already have an antivirus. As mentioned in the article, SecureAPlus closes all the gaps in your computer's security ;)
Can't wait for it to turn "Get it for Free" and I can get my free upgrade to Premium license!

It scans the whole system and sent constantly fingerprints to unknown servers. Who likes that? I´m not - for me that´s more a spyware than a security-tool. See your privacy policy...

Petronius Arbiter II I would also like to know if this will run on Windows 10 after I upgrade, AND ALSO: Will this program conflict with the ZoneAlarm Free Firewall in any way?

Some more details on my question:

-- If this program includes its own firewall, odds are good it doesn't work as well as ZoneAlarm's, i.e. is not as customizable.

-- So, if it DOES include its own firewall, I will want to know in advance how to avoid installing the firewall, seeing as how the antivirus/antimalware part will be all I want to try out. Or at least, how to uninstall the firewall if it isn't possible to keep it out of the initial install of your product.

Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.

I've previously check with BitsDuJour regarding this issue and they are aware of this sporadic issue but the only solution is that they resend the receipt email when it happens.

In the meantime, while waiting for them to resend you the email, you can still use SecureAPlus and you still get to enjoy the 12 antivirus engines and Application Whitelisting :) Once you have receive the email from them, you can then activate the Premium license to enjoy the additional premium features.

Yes, SecureAPlus works well together with Malwarebyte's Antimalware :) Just remember to opt out of the "Offline Antivirus" when installing SecureAPlus since your PC has Bitdefender.

Miranda User We have more than one computer and more than one user in our household, but for some reason, we were only able to take advantage of this offer on one laptop. The other two laptops we are getting the error message that it looks like we've already purchased this and can only purchase once, click to resend the confirmation email. And of course, since those other 2 users' accounts have NOT been able to get the software, those email addresses are not in your system. Please advise.

SecureAPlus @Ajit Jain: SecureAPlus Application Whitelisting immediately kicks in as soon as you install it. Please let the initial full system scan finish. In doing so, the whitelisting process is also complete and safe applications in your system will not be blocked.

Our recommendation is to let SecureAPlus finish the initialization process before passing judgement on it's effectiveness.

vanessa User I have tried for hours trying to run the exe file and errors pop up"can't read certificate"and even registered on the SecureAPlus site and downloaded the freemium download and it will not finish running the exe file without a error.I have windows XP home edition SP2..Added the license number on the site and the license was a invalid #..Also downloaded the software from Microsoft to run the exe file for the software to install..
To hard to install will search for another secondary security software.

vanessa User The activation code did work.I just could not get the software to run on Windows XP SP2 home edition.So i installed the software on a Windows XP professional and it is working awesome.I have the software alongside of, AVG antivirus software and SecureAPlus is working great and is a good software after checking all the options the software has in the dashboard.The software download and activation code/license was activated with no issues on Windows XP professional.I don't know what the issue was with the SP2 windows operating system.Maybe it was a issue with my dell.

To add further, SecureAPlus is not compatible with a fresh copy of Windows XP SP2 but once you install SecureAPlus it will prompt you with the patch needed. If you patch it it will work just fine.

As for installation, again the installer has an issue with SP2, but a workaround will be to download the full installer (not the small online installer) from the SecureAPlus website - www.secureaplus.com/download and install it using that.

This workaround should let you use SecureAPlus if you're a Windows SP2 user.

I hope this helps as well as other XP SP2 users.

Hi James,

You need to open SecureAPlus go to Info&Licenses>Account, and login. If you're new, then you need to sign up for a new account. You can do so on the same page. Once done an email will be sent to you, so open it and click on the confirmation link to activate your account.

Once that is done, you can now login from inside SecureAPlus>Info &
Licenses>Account. After a successful login, you can then see the "Promo
Code" field. Copy and paste the promo code provided by BitsDuJour and click on "Redeem" you'll get a confirmation

If I was to get this promo would I be able to extend my current promo subscription?
I happen to have this installed with another promo 1-2 months earlier this year.

My experience:
So far it seems to be holding up ok to tests but not sure of its long term performance. I also use the offline virus part, just because I want to be more thorough and not rely on the internet connection. I haven't had any real threats yet so that success remains to be seen. PC speed doesn't seem to be affected once it's up and running.
But you need to be very patient with the first scan, mine went on for 4 hours on a total of 130GB data and things got painfully slow until it was done.

Cary Adams SAP's first scan is incredibly tedious as it checks every potentially harmful file on your system, and in doing so, marshals most of your PC resources, making the PC sluggish. It can go on for nearly a day with a large drive. If you can get past that, then much is better. If you already have AV protection, you will want to disable SAP's offline AV.

In contrast, Crystal Security checks only running apps when installed, and others upon launch, giving you a rapid activation, and avoiding the first scan issues intrinsic with SAP.

John User Sorry to say this one didn't work for me. I downloaded, installed and set up an account for it about a week ago. After 4 days I contacted support as I could never get the initial full scan done - for more than 60 hrs of running time I kept getting the message:"file index service not ready yet, please wait." Support quickly responded asking me to send them the log files which I did. I was told to download again and reinstall the program. I did that and a computer restart and unfortunately still have the same problem as the initial full scan was running about 15 hrs yesterday. Again I sent the log files to support and am awaiting their response.

Also, thinking it might be my PC which has a lot of programs on it, I tried to use SecureAPlus on a different PC with the same result of never getting the initial scan done. I should mention the whitelisting feature seems to work and I am impressed with their response time to problems. However, like a dope, I uninstalled the free one-year Panda AV package I had been using thinking this SecureAPlus looked great With no AV, I am back to the one that comes with Windows 10.

Still hoping for a fix from support, but as of now, I am kinda glad I didn't pay anything for this program. I am happy I was able to test it out though.

Todd User I installed the program, clicked on "Info & Licenses" "Account", and it's blank except for a SecureAPlus ID number. There's nowhere to log in or enter any information. What Now?!?!

Miroslav PAVLIK Licence CODE?! NOT WORKED. 1,5 hour by this problem and no first problem. With AGV have here ilegal licence in post. Problem,problem and her this SW is NEW Preoblem. LICENCE NO WORKED. Unreal regiostering and Program launch.

Please do try this and let us know if this works by following the instructions on the webpage below:

The process is slightly different but you should be able to redeem your Premium Code. Do not worry about the Freemium wording, the activation code you got from Bitsdujour entitles you to a “Premium” license. You can skipped Step 1 if you have installed SecureAPlus.

The license code will be sent to your email. Simply copy this and then open SecureAPlus > Info & Licenses > Licenses. Paste the license on the “License Code” field and click “Apply”.
