Tazzie The website for this Plugin states that it is a single-site license, which would limit me to using it on one website or Wordpress site. I could not find such an indication here on BDJ, so I would appreciate some clarification as to whether this applies to Plugins bought through BDJ.

Single Site License (One WordPress Installation): $19 (reg. $37)

Developer (Unlimited Sites) License: $37 (reg. $77)

When you click the Buy Now button, you will see the options.

Last I checked the Developer License was highlighted above the Buy Now button, but I see that has changed now to the Single Site. It is a bit unclear, so I thank you for your question.

Adrian Williams I've installed the download onto one wordpress blog for testing. What are the activation procedures since the download seems to work without any form of activation. I'll be looking for the developer licence by the way.

Alain Lesage I will not be buying this because... I already did!

I think you deserve the appreciation, although I am a bit disappointed that the more people get the plugin, the more fierce will be the competition in designing websites. ;-)

Scott Bernadot @Alain - Haha - I hear you. The web design business in general has much lower barriers to entry with WordPress than just a couple years ago. I think WP has done to web design what Photoshop and Digital cameras have done to photography. Pretty amazing stuff. I got hooked on WordPress about 4 years ago and it completely revolutionized my web design business and my life (for the better).

Well, if the theme already has shortcodes, I would advise you not to purchase this plugin. While I have done my best making this plugin compatible with most themes / plugins, I have run into consistent issues when themes have their own shortcodes. That is one reason I offer support and a 30 day refund policy too, so you don't buy something you cannot use.

I wish I had more information for you but I am not familiar with the Crystal Theme, and I, like your designer, have a full schedule too.

I do have my own multi-purpose theme that actually includes the shortcode kid plugin with it. You can see it at AlohaThemes.com (The Service Theme). Not trying to sell you something, but just letting you know its there if you are interested.

Roberto i bought a template from aloha, and i want to share the diferences.

the template comes with shortcode kid too, and you can use it unlimited times BUT only with that template.

if you choose the developer license today, you can use it with any project, and does not have that restriction.

This offer is somewhat different from usual software offers here at bitsdujour as this is a plugin for a WordPress site. It will not work as a standalone application.

So the license is either for an install on a single website you own (single site license at the special price of 19 $) or for every website you will ever create (unlimited site license or so-called developper license at 37$). Both work only on WordPress sites (WordPress is free).

I personally have never used Thesis, so I cannot say for certain. I have not had any reports of it not working with Thesis (and I have sold hundreds of these plugins), so I would assume it would work just fine.

If not, I will refund your money immediately.
