It's easy to build a website - anyone can do it.

It's a lot harder to build a good one. One that works - the way you want it to - with any browser. One where the graphics show up where you want them. One that looks professional. And one that you can maintain without too much unnecessary pain.

SiteSpinner helps you build that kind of website. It's a complete solution that lets you craft and maintain a professional-looking website without running 6 different programs or learning 4 different technologies.

Nigel Brewster Any web design tool that isn't mobile responsive/adaptive is a pointless tool, I would stay away from this, even for free.

Peter White Hello Nigel - SiteSpinner creates industry-standard websites - that is, web pages created with SiteSpinner can be validated through the through This means they display correctly on all devices.

Nigel Brewster Hi Peter, I take it you work for SiteSpinner. If so even on your website it shows the differences between standard and pro, the pro version has mobile ready sites, the standard there is no tick beside it.

As to your point about, I've been a developer for over a 11 yrs and many designers/developers take absolutely no notice of validation, including myself, unless someone asks for it. HTML5 is not even a definite standard only experimental.

I could build every site that would conform to validation and none would have to be mobile ready. It will work on mobiles/tablets but you would have to pinch and zoom, no one wants to do that and I'm a responsive advocate, it's the only way forward.

Peter White Hi Nigel,

Yes, you are right. The difference between the Pro version and the Standard version is that you can create sites specifically designed for Mobile with Pro. SiteSpinner Standard creates standard websites... Of course creating a responsive site is going to take a bit more work. SiteSpinner standard is for people who want to get a good, standard-website up quickly and easily that will work well across all browsers.

Gary Smith Are you also offering 70% off of the Pro version?

Peter White Hi Gary,

There is currently no comparable discount available for the Pro version (though we sometimes do run discounts for that product also). Keep in mind that there is a fairly substantial discount for SiteSpinner to SiteSpinner Pro upgrades.
