I have looked at the the capabilities of the multiple versions of the Smart Diary Suite 4. I am Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer survivor currently in remission. Your product is exactly what I was looking for. However I am more interested in the Medical version of Smart Diary Suite, So my question is do you have any provision for making available the medical version for those who desire it, with a comparable discount mechanism based on it increased cost/value? Dennis Volodomanov Hello Brad,

We had a sale on BDJ for the Medical edition a few months ago, but I don't know when a new one will be scheduled for. However, you can upgrade to the Medical edition from the Home edition by paying only the difference, which would make it cheaper than buying the Medical edition right now.

If you already own any edition of Smart Diary Suite and wish to upgrade, you just have to pay the difference! Just contact support and we'll provide you with a special purchase link."

whereas BitsDuJour says "Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for the lifetime of the product."

Regarding updates - up to this point, all major updates have been free and this will remain for at least the next major version as well (v5). After that, it may or may not change (most likely it'll still be free). Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, you can create multiple diaries under one license (so, one diary for you and one for your wife).

Pavi Johnson I recently bought the Medical version for a family member who could benefit from tracking medication, health, etc. When showing the features to my relative, I realized that this is a really great program!

Since I don't need the medical aspect, I am purchasing the Home version for myself. It has diary, scheduler, notes, tracking of various parameters, recipies, menus, etc... really feature rich even if I won't tap into many of them.

This program is very highly recommended, especially at the discount price.

Todd Scheitler I love using SDS4 Medical edition. I have Fibromyalgia and several other problems and it allows me to track all kinds of things about the diseases and how the weather effects me and other things. I can track my pain levels and where it hurts then I can share this with my doc. It really is a smart program and I really did not have anything to utilize before I found it. I had tried other programs but they were not flexible enough to do the things that I can do with SDS4 Medical Edition.
