Michael Mortimer These what I call "idea managers" are handy, especially at this price.

They are good to keep track of projects as one thinks of data, documents, notes, material, whatever. I'll give this one a try.

What is the licensing? I have a notebook, netbook and desktop. I would like to put the program on all three computers. Is that possible with a single license purchase?

Oliver Grahl @Michael: We do allow installing one license on multiple machines, as long as you don't use them concurrently.

Michael Mortimer Well I have tried this out today and IMHO it's a great program. I have some other programs like this (Ultra Recall and another that cost our office about $600).

Both those became shelfware because they were too hard to use. If one has loads of time, they are OK, I guess, but I need this kind of program to supplement what I do, not to make a full time task of learning to use a program.

Like I said before, I consider these "thoughts" or "project" managers that allow one to compile information, notes, and data and keep it in one place rather than having information scattered all over the office and computer.

The interface is easy to use, without even looking at the help file. And the features are intuitive.

So I say but it at this price. I mean $15? What can you get nowadays for $15.

This company is in Germany. I have a few other programs that are from there. Germans make good products. That's a sloppy generalization, but that's been my experience based a crypto program I have been using for 12 years, Cryptomite, from BAxBEx Software in Germany.

As to improvements, I am not sure if the program is capable, but I'd like the ability to put shortcuts or an icon on my desktop, a macro of sorts, that lets me open up the feature of the program that I want to use.

For example, I'd like to one-click an icon and it opens the "notepad" so I can jot down a note, or for example, save a post such as this one into my "Blog Notes" file. Maybe the program can do that, I'll have to check.

Would also like to to this program (or a macro) turned into a custom menu item that shows up when I right click my mouse. Would like to see it context sensitive, so that if the program detects I am typing a comment, that the menu item "Snippet Note" shows up as a selectable menu item.

My program "Ultra Recall," which is another "thought compiler" similar to this program, has that feature. When I right click in this comments box it says "Send to Ultra Recall (copy)"

Just a thought.
