If you find yourself needing to integrate PDF documents seamlessly into your existing Microsoft Office-driven workflows, you're going to want to hear about today's discount software promotion - Soda PDF Standard!

Soda PDF Standard lets you open, edit, create, convert, and print PDF documents, at a fraction of the cost of more complicated applications. With Soda PDF Standard, you'll be able to create PDF files from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, and over 300 other file formats. But the real flexibility comes from the power to convert native PDF files to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, text, and image files.

You can even use Soda PDF Standard to edit text and images! Editing functions include the ability to insert images, text, backgrounds, and even headers and footers. Insert new pages, move pages to other locations in the document, and delete pages right out of PDF files. You can even take advantage of multiple viewing modes, like full screen, single, continuous, even 3D!

Please note folks: while the prices will vary slightly for EU customers based on taxes and exchange rates, the 50% discount will persist.

Timothy Wallace Is the 50% discount also going to extend to the professional version?

Ian Bacon Hi Mr. Wallace, we had already tested our Professional version with bitsdujour which is still accessible at 50% discount from this link http://www.bitsdujour.com...ofessional

Timothy Wallace "Still Accessible," at full price, yes. That deal has expired, and offers no discount. I had already discovered that reference, thank you.

Ralph Bressler @Ian Please tell me where you see that. I see the Standard for $49.95 and the Pro for $79.95!

Husker Tech Does this application have a feature to create a PDF from a scan? I don't see the feature at http://www.sodapdf.com, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks.

Kenneth Floyd I too would like to know where to go to get the same discount off of PRO or Pro+OCR

Bertie Brummel @ Harlan:

AFAIK the Standard version does not support OCR, you need the PRO version + the OCR upgrade for additional $ 20.

@ Kenneth: Today I visited the German website www.sodapdf.de and found an offer for the Pro version at € 59 instead of the usual € 79. Maybe there's a similar offer on Lulu's main site today?

Software Geek Is this any better than PDF Pro 10 that was on sale here a few days back. Already bought the Pro 10 but am interested in this one as well.

Kenneth Floyd the PDF Pro 10 is a nice addition to PDF utilities. Have you seen Adobe's Subscription of CS6? It's fantastic, but I'll always thank Bits Du Jour for Debenu PDF Maximus. Today's Better Memo is not something to shake off, I suggest you take advantage and get it.

Bill Payne @Ian Bacon

Can you please clarify if - and where - the Soda PDF Pro version is available for 1/2 its $79.95 price?

As noted above, the link you provided is to an expired BitsDuJour deal. I'd rather purchase the Professional version than the Standard version.

Thank you!

PJ Harr I, too, would like to purchase the Soda PDF PRO+OCR at half off, and the link for the PRO version had previously expired.

How can we obtain the PRO+OCR version at half off?

Thx.

Husker Tech It seems like fewer and fewer software publishers (e.g., LULU Software) respond to questions on Bitsdujour during their special offers. Very disappointing for a company located in Canada.

William Payne To Ian Bacon -

Since posting my question above about 12 hours ago, the BitsDuJour offer closed. I did not purchase the Soda PDF Standard edition as I need the features contained in the Soda PDF Pro edition.

Especiallly for those of us who inquired during the original 24 hour BitsDuJour timeframe about the Pro edition and your statement above that the "Professional version with bitsdujour which is still accessible at 50% discount ", can I purchase the Pro edition from you now at 1/2 off? As you already know from comments from others above, the BitsDuour link to the Pro offer at 1/2 off does not work so we'd have to find another mechanism to make that work.

Thank you for your consideration to this request.

VLM Harlan Bruce - I agree! It's a shame, because as vendors participate less and less, so do I. And I imagine the same is true for others ... BDJ itself will suffer, over time, if this trend really is a trend.

Perhaps someone at BDJ is listening. (I know you are :):)

Kenneth Floyd Why did I get an email and location to purchase Soda Pro OCR at 1/2 price and apparently some did not?

Software Geek Don't visit those sites, Web of Trust lists both of those links as untrusted Links. Be warned. Or go at your own risk. Im not making this up, download WOT for any browser and you will see.

Kenneth Floyd Which links? The ones I posted that gets you Pro+OCR for $49.00?
If so, I don't know where you found the sites untrusted, they are not listed. They company is offering the Pro+OCR at a loss because of the Bits Du Jour clammer, so they opened 2 links that are not advertized. I just revisited both and have AVG search, Avast Enterprise, Spyshelter premium, MalwareBytes, Ghostery and no-script. I get nothing but a page to purchase a product.
