What are people saying about Sothink JavaScript Web Scroller

Glenn User I noticed on your page at http://www.bitsdujour.com...-software/ that the price is $17.50 with a list price of $35.00, as compared to the $18.95 and $44.94 respectively here. Which is correct?

Roger Thomasson Glenn, I believe that with the $44.94/$18.95 prices, you are actually referring to today's other Bits du Jour promotion -- Swift To-Do List.

Best!

Alan Roger,
I just pulled up today's deals and the prices were switched, it showed the opposite price for both products.

Rick Truell Roger, I also get the same results as Alan S with the non-www vs www versions of your domain name. I'm also using Firefox. However, I get the proper results when I use IE.

Thanks for the info, this is a very strange bug!

Ralph Bressler - Each license allows installation on 1 computer, but Sothink JavaScript Web Scroller may not be used at exactly the same time on each of them.
- So it can be used exactly at the same time on the ONE computer on which it can be installed? This makes no sense!

Transfer of a license to another owned computer is not allow
- What happens when I get a new computer or find I would rather use it on my laptop? Does that mean I have to buy another copy?

I downloaded the trail and thought it quite good even though free versions are available everywhere. I WAS very interested in buying UNTIL I read these policies. Maybe I'll just go with the free versions and avoid all these hoops!

William Tattors Yes, Ralph, I SO agree.... But the ease of use of the tool seems to be worthy. I emailed them about and they seem to be accommodating to transferring.. My guess is that they just have not fully evolved and are, as justifiably, terrified and overly cautious of rampant pirating.... I think I will Smash the BUY button, most tempting..

Ralph Bressler They have been around for a while but...

Anyone from the company acre to address the issue?

VLM Well, I'd like to make this purchase, but every time I try, I get an empty shopping cart at Avangate. Par for the course with them. I'll check back in a short while to see whether anyone can help on this, otherwise, I'm going to sleep.

Frank Stewart I get an email declaring that the price is "40% off -- pay only $21 of the original $35 cost!" but when clicking on the "Get the Deal" button, guess what?! It's only 20% off, costing $28! So now what???

Sep 11 2012 at 9:03am Copy Link

Frank, Looks like you arrived a few days late to take advantage of the 40% Off deal.

BitsDuJour Admin - Sep 11 2012 at 9:04am Copy Link

Frank Stewart You might be right, Nico. But I went there the INSTANT I got the email from BitsduJour about the 40% off, so what's that all about???

Frank Stewart Now, THAT is the kind of software group I like to deal with. I had a problem getting the offered Javascript Scroller at the 40% discounted price, when they learned of it, they sent me an email with a direct link and at the right price! Now everything is working great and I got the price as advertised! Thanks, guys!

VLM Is there any integration with XSite Pro?

Sep 12 2012 at 5:59am Copy Link

Sothink Software To clarify my question: The product description, up top, states:
___
With Sothink JavaScript Web Scroller, you never have to leave your favorite web authoring application. The app integrates seamlessly into the drop-down menus in Expression Web, FrontPage, Dreamweaver and Golive,
___
XSitePro is in this same genre of website creation tools and is, I believe, rather well known. My question is, does Web Scroller integrate seamlessly into XSitePro?

I hope this helps clarify my original question. :)

SourceTec Software - Sep 12 2012 at 7:35pm Copy Link

Sothink Software Sothink JavaScript Web Scroller can integrate into XSitePro. After the webpage is generated, you can insert Sothnk JavaScript Scroller.

Hope this information can help you.
