What are people saying about Sothink Web Video Downloader

Tom Colvin I like to download a lot of video off the web, some from YouTube, some from musician websites, some from computer software sites offering tutorials. i've tried a multitude of downloaders, most of which I've discovered have limited capability.

This downloader is by far the best I've ever encountered. Whenever I click on a web video, I'm alerted that it is available for download. If I click the alert, down it comes, no further fuss. So far this software has captured video from a wide variety of sites.

It also keeps a history of one's downloads, and allows immediate playback in a small window within the software.

Even though there are free alternatives, none chat I know can compare. This downloader is well worth the Bits du Jour discounted price.

fran harter Hi,

First topic:
I was watching some online TV (when my regular programming was crappy).

I tried several different downloader apps for streaming video, but nothing really worked.

QUESTION# 1

Can this work with sites like hulu, or are they somehow thwarting the use of such apps?

Second topic:
I was going to order some training via a place that requires a Screencast account. I think it uses camstudio to deliver it's training videos.

Question#2:
Will this software download such training videos, make with camstudio? Or camtasia?

Thanks in advance.

Sothink Software Thank you for your comment!
Sothink web video downloader can only download non-streaming videos.
so I have to say, it can not cater to your need.
But still, thank you for focus on sothink product.

Ash Goyal I got this as freebie last year thru Giveawayoftheday.com site and loved the product. I lost the license when I changed computers (GAOTD freebies are non re-installable licenses) so am glad to see the discounted software and placing an order!

The beauty of this is that it runs in the background and automatically alerts you to download youtube and other rated sites flawlessly. Overall a satisfied user.
