In the old days, anyone who knew a little HTML, and was able to learn - or fake - the rest, could make websites pretty much as well as the next guy or gal.

Not anymore. Everyone wants sophisticated, complex websites, and nearly all of these require databases to register users, track comments, manage contents - functions that MYSQL makes a lot easier. But why take the time and energy to learn the complexities of database design when you can just lay out your data the way you want it, and use SQL Converter to build and format your database?

Got Vista and want to give SQL Converter a spin? Don't use the trial download button above. Instead, download the demo for Windows Vista.

Steven Avery True.

Quite a number of decent products are on Trialpay, so many that unless you want to play around with all sorts of offers that are more play than reality for you, I would suggest saving it for items that would cost you $30-40, and try to spring for a Bits offer when it applies to you below that.

Trialpay (like Google ads) has at times had some junque that is like rogue-ware, e.g. bogus registry cleaners, so I have a hesitation of giving support. However I grant that I haven't made great efforts to contact them asking for their correction/action so I can't be too critical, however seeing any crapware on a site is off-putting.

Not to say that the freebie idea isn't attractive, but I just want to offer some counterpoint. So far I have always stuck with Bits rather than such an alternative. While not perfect in choosing software (who could be), the discounts are great and they really seem to have their head on the shoulders. Products like the two today show some pizazz on their end. And I like the direct small $ support to the developer too rather than the commercial rigamarole.

Shalom,
Steven Avery

A. Lasares In connection with this offer, I tried the software in advance, yesterday. I had an issue with the trial version for Windows Vista and wrote an e-mail to the company. I got a quick and friendly answer, which is sign of good service.

They also confirmed that an individual can use the program on up to 3 of his own computers, which is great for me with a desktop and a laptop.

Frank Rietta Mike:

No, it will not work well with Microsoft SQL Server. It is designed specifically for MySQL. The data types in Microsoft SQL Server are different enough that support will have to be added later. I expect to release an update this year that adds support for PostgreSQL.

Frank
Frank Rietta On behalf of the SQL Converter team, I want to say that we are pleased to be on BDJ today. I have received much positive feedback from users of SQL Converter for Excel since it was released two years ago. There are updates planned for this year, including PostgreSQL support. Those who take advantage of today's deal will be eligible to receive it free of additional charge. If you have suggestions for improvements, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to incorporate new ideas that add value.
