Welcome, I should have put a little note in earlier, however I wanted to make extra sure that there was not a whole "new leaf" involved, maybe the zilla had changed its stripes.

It was a little unclear to me if they still use the scareware motif (you have 300 errors, unlock the program and we can fix them, when the errors are essentially nothings). Probably that particular problem does not apply when the start with the paid version, but it is an indicator of security company integrity, thus if anyone already, in the past, downloaded the trial, they could tell us.

Anyway, keep your eyes open here for any specials with MBAM, SAS, Eset, etc. There are lots of good specials with security companies. (Careful though that if the deal is too good, it may have an automatic renewal that you have to go to efforts to opt-out after one year, that happened with BitDefender once.)

If you are dealing with an unknown or second-tier company, at least first do a google scan of the name and Wilders Security Forum.
