What are people saying about Streamza Torrenting: Lifetime License & Unlimited Allowance

Chris Do Not Purchase!

I purchased the lifetime 100GB per month here and twice it has changed from that to the unlimited for $5.99 per month.
Also, about a week ago I got an email telling me about getting this deal but for $49.99 so I did.
I have NOT received the code to activate it nor has my account been fixed back to the original 100GB per month.

I have sent numerous emails and no reply from them.
Also, their site is messed up as well. I had over 10 torrents trying to complete for a long time and now I have only one.

This is a waste of money. Install the Torch browser, it has a torrent downloader built in for free.

I am going to contact the payment processor and get a full refund for both of my accounts if the vendor does not give me the code for this deal that I paid $49.99 for.

Noggin The Nog I understand that some torrent sites require payment of a monthly or annual licence fee. How does that work when downloading with this software, given that this software conceals the identity of the person downloading from the torrent site? Is the Streamza server likely to be registered with such sites so that the fee is already paid? And what are the terms and conditions to which agreement is required when registering with Streamza?

Noggin The Nog In order to trial this software, I tried to register, but after waiting some time I still have yet to receive the verification email. And as I have noted already, I could not find the terms and conditions on the website. Also, I note that one of the considerations with a vpn is whether it keeps logs. Registration requires an email address and a date of birth, suggesting that those who wish to remain anonymous may be concerned that these details are taken in order to make the downloaders traceable, in which case logs would be kept. There is nothing on the website to say that logs are not kept - merely that the downloader's ip address is concealed, if I understood the situation correctly. Are logs kept? And what does this software provide, apart from messaging and cloud storage, that a vpn does not offer?
Nov 19 2017 at 4:54am Copy Link

Sid B Then there is this:
"Upgrades to future versions of the software will require additional payment. Installing a new version may overwrite the existing version and invalidate your license key."

So this "lifetime" license is only good until the software is updated?

Chris Why hasn't giuseppe replied here. his email is giuseppestreamza.com and all of my emails go unanswered.
I read about him trying to sell off the company because PayPal wanted nothing to do with the site.
Am I going to be out all of the money I spent?

I paid $29.99 for 100GB per month for life and $49.99 for unlimited for life and even bought the 100 points for $9.99 although I didn't need them.
That is a waste of $89.97 for nothing.

Constantin Florea We had an issue earlier with retrieving the credentials for the Streamza vendor account which meant the vendor could not login to reply to comments. The vendor should by now have access to those credentials to login and reply to comments (we sent those credentials by email to the vendor).

Giuseppe User Hello Guys

We had a little glitch in our system, the verification emails weren't going out, so we are working to manually activate each account that has purchased through here.

If you haven't received your code within 24 hours please contact Giuseppestreamza.com

Streamza is a service that allows you to access terrabytes of torrents, its not just a DropBox with uTorrent attached, it actually allows you to instantly snap torrents into your account. We have over 100TB of torrents that you can access instantly as if they were downloaded on to your hard drive, and it keeps growing every day.

It's accessible from anywhere at anytime.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact giuseppestreamza.com

Noggin The Nog Here - https://www.sitejabber.co...reamza.com - you can see 7 glowing reviews, all in a somewhat similar style and looking almost like advertisements, followed 8 months later by one review in a different style and rather less favourable. I have still not received the verification email in relation to my attempted registration. All in all, not very encouraging. Also, I generally feel very uncomfortable giving out my date of birth on websites. It is an important part of ones identity, and I am not in favour of exposing it to any weaknesses there may be in the security on the recipient's server. On the other hand, it could perhaps be valuable information to any one seeking to pursue and therefore identify an unlawful downloader, although of course that must be irrelevant in light of their making a point of concealing your ip address when downloading files with streamza. I am still not clear though what the advantages of this software are over a VPN - lifetime licences for PureVPN are sold occasionally by Bits du Jour Exclusives for a price similar to that of this software. The VPN would have a wider application than downloading torrents. Conceivably it might be useful to have integrated cloud storage, I suppose, but it is no trouble to install a bittorrent client - Tixati is free and seems to work very well.

Chris Update:

After contacting Fastspring for a refund they sent Streamza an email and I was finally in contact with him again. Problem is he is ignoring the emails again. When I thought we were close to solving my problem, he stopped replying. I guess I am out the money as evidently Fastspring can not refund my money, Streamza must do so.

All I can say is that when everything was fine it worked good but when something goes wrong don't expect a reply to your support emails.

Hasan User I contacted them several times. They tell me that my account is active, but I can't sign in, and they wont respond to any further emails. It looks like a one man company that runs from his living room, and he respond to email if he feels like it, but he cannot solve any problem. If you pay for this deal you are giving your money out for free.

Jeff Usher Ordered previously from a special offer email and did not receive any confirmation of the order, had to contact the e-commerce company handling their payments who like me, could not get a response from the company so said nothing could be done. They took my money and did not provide the service.

My support emails all remain unanswered, their Facebook support page is not looked at, all in all I would really take caution with this company as there is no support whatsoever and they may take your money and not provide any service.

Given all the previous negative feedback I am surprised to see BitsDuJour still touting this service.

John User So I'm a little confused how Streamza works even after looking at the website.

In the past I had a free trial for a month with a limit on how much I could download (I think 5 gb or something like that). It was hit or miss. Some downloads went quickly, some slow, some just dead.

I would like to give it a try again as this lifetime license with unlimited allowance has an attractive price. But I don't know how the points work with that license and unlimited allowance and cannot find an explanation.

Anyone actively using Streamza that would care to comment on whether it still works and if this is a good deal for the lifetime unlimited? Thank you

Jeff Usher "Giuseppe User Hello Jeff
You should've received a response"

I know ..... still haven't. Thanks for stating the obvious though.

Anyone reading this here's what's going to happen.

1) You'll place the order as the lifetime deal seems very good.
2) You'll not receive any information about the order.
3) You'll email support and receive no response.
4) If you are lucky enough to get your account activated, the software will be updated to a new version over the coming months and your "lifetime license" will be invalid and you will have to pay to upgrade.

Go ahead and purchase if you like these odds.

Jeff

Jacques Nope it's not Lifetime Chimera, not even Unlimited Download or Unlimited points ..

For me the same. If they would just help the current customers asap then there wouldn't have been so many Very Negative feedback.

Everyone waited patiently for 24 hours and now it's past that time and the bad reputation is going to spread like wildfire because of the very bad customer support.

@Giuseppe:
Come on streamza, make your product better, let it grow and deliver quickly. That's how your company is going to make it's name .. Not by doing the opposite.

Jacques @ Chimera,

The points are used to encode videos.

See this snippet.
"Streamza.com offers convenient and hassle free streaming of content. If there are any contents that are not supported for streaming through a browser, such as AVI and MKV, Streamza.com can easily encode the videos so you can stream them instantly with no hassle."

K it looks like my account is resolved. YAY :)
Feb 24 2018 at 11:12am Copy Link

Chimera Apparently, I think points are for encoding videos to possibly view in the browser. At least that's the only thing I ran into that costs points. I think if you download it to your device and view the video file from there, then you won't need to use points.

mix624 Hi Streamza,

Can you please comment on the below review about your service:

"It is very difficult to insert any new torrent into Streamza. There are some major problems with the torrent client. Most of the magnet links simply cannot be downloaded. Also there is no option to enter a link to a torrent file or to upload your own torrent from your PC. These are serious issues, which make the service unusable"

Full article:
http://torrentadvice.com/streamza/

I know this is a very good deal when it comes to price but does Streamza work as said? Is it true that the European/Asian customers will get very slow download times compared to if you are in US since you have servers located in Arizona ?

And please let us know what possibilities we have in case we find that it isnt working well at all to refund ?

I am ofcourse hoping that the above review is totally wrong and this is a well functioning service...even after a few months/years. Thanks

clive User My biggest question would be around security - sure they may not reveal your IP address but the online storage method means that there has to be some link between your account and the content you download. I fail to see how this can be as secure as subscribing to a VPN (one that does not log traffic) and using a 3rd party app on your computer to download torrents. In fairness the description above does not claim that the service provides anonymity.

John User This shows up on BDJ frequently and I have not seen anyone post anything good about it. Check the older comments.

FWIW, I gave it a try a few years ago with a limited free license and limited download allowance. It just didn't work for me as the files I tried to download just sat there and nothing happened.

I keep hoping that Streamza would improve and the positive reviews would appear as I would be willing to pay the $29.99 lifetime license for a backup to my current way of using torrents. But, until they do, I'll pass on this again.
