Christina Jinga McAfee reflects this as an unwanted program?

My Name Here All the PCs on our home network have multiple Windows user accounts. Do I have to have a distinct license for each user account or just one for each PC?

Today's fine print says "if more people are going to use Surveilstar Any Parental Control you will need to purchase additional copies." Does that mean the additional copies are at the regular price of $29.95?

Thanks!

Stephen Stewart Having tried out this software before, I would highly DISCOURAGE anyone from putting it on their system!! This software gets its hooks into EVERY part of your computer!

The uninstall process did NOT work as claimed, so after a LOT of restoration work, I'm left with one 'agent' still messing around with my system's TCPIP process, which very negatively affects many of my internet connections. There seems to be NO WAY to cleanly remove all of this software, without re-installing Windows...

This software did NOT work well with Windows 7 64-bit; it introduced many performance glitches, which would definitely make a targetted user suspect that their computer was infected with a virus, or trojan.

Do NOT install this software on your production (day-to-day) computer!!

Christina Jinga I need to remove this as soon as I get home. It seems their site warning from McAfee is yellow. MY PC at work will not allow me to access it. Amazingly a company representative has not responded to any of the postings either.! Not very happy at the moment!

Ciprian Sorin Ok, just my thoughts. Wasn't this suppose to act like a strange program (aka virus)?
Think about it, is a surveillance program, of course it will be flagged as bad. Just try adding it to your AV exceptions. All key logger programs are BAD PROGRAMS used in GOOD FAITH. I have no idea about the developer reputation, but I trust the BIts Do Jour endorsement. I had my doubts as well about past deals, but I got some of the doubtful ones based on BDJ recommendations and I am really happy.

Christina Jinga That was my thought too. Some feedback from the company/developer to ease our minds would be nice.

Stephen Stewart Thanks for your newest comments.

I was fully aware what a surveillance program is supposed to do, before I installed it for testing purposes.

My primary point was that this program does NOT uninstall itself properly, leaving parts of your system hobbled...

Install @ your own risk!

Robert Reese First of all, I'm a customer, and have no association with the developer. But I do have 20 years of IT experience and can understand the concern from people about the safety of the download of this software.

For those that have virus/spyware/malware warnings: Yes, it is good that your software is detecting this as a dangerous software. And I'm very glad you are concerned. Really, I am!

However, since you INTEND to have this type of software - a SURVEILLANCE software that logs keystrokes, takes screenshots, and sends data, these warnings are just that: a warning that something can be a problem. The warnings are designed to warn you about UNAUTHORIZED software that does what this software does. But since you are authorizing, and actually want the surveillance of the computer, then you don't need to worry.

Shabaz, this *is* a "clean" version. Indeed, what you are asking is for the developer to remove the exact functionality of the software that the software is designed to do. An analogy is to discover that a highly explosive and flammable liquid reservoir is sitting in your driveway - your car's gas tank - and you asking the car manufacturer to provide a car that doesn't have the flammable or explosive risk. Make sense? ;c)

Hope this helps, and keep up the vigilance.

Cheers,
Robert~

DroidLuvr Since there hasn't been any response from the developer, I thought I'd add something here that is in the smaller print, but is very important to most modern computers:

This does NOT WORK on any 64-BIT systems!

Rules it out for me entirely; so for some of you also, it may be a deal breaker without worrying about the virus warnings... The developer commented last November that for 64-bit systems, you could try their Enterprise "trial..." which of course is not free.

Christina Jinga Thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate the information. Unfortunately, I overlooked that it will not work on 64-bit. I guess I need to uninstall. :(
This would have been great as I have a teenager and a tweenie.

Anvsoft Support Hey My Name Here,

Sorry for my delay. You just need to install agent in the computer and it would be monitored no matter which account is logged in with. And one computer needs one license, which costs $29.95 for one. And here is also discount price for 3 licenses and 5 licenses. $49.95 for 3 PCs and 69.95 for 5 PCs.

You can also get detailed information from: http://any-parental-control.com/buy.html

Thank you for your support to SurveilStar.

Christina Jinga Robert, thank you for your input. It was as I thought. Because of the nature of the program, any anti-virus should detect it as such.
