Alan Carr I tried the demo ages ago and then discovered they were going to release a version with a book cover as well. I tried to hold out but was too tempted! It's a VERY nice little application.

spacingham "Transfer of a license to another owned computer not allowed." Does this mean that if I install on one computer then replace that computer I would have to buy the software again?

Eddie Tex Sounds like conflicting sentences on the "policy" info.

It states that this is licensed per user for non-concurrent use only. User based typically means you can install on multiple machines. Non-concurrent tells me that it's limited to your use and no one else (or as they say in business, "named user" as opposed to just any user).

That's fine and good, but then to say we can't transfer the license to another owned computer contradicts the statement that this is a user-based license.

Dennis Crane If you replace computer you may use the same license.
You may not use one license on both computers and you may not transfer license to another owner\person.

Eddie Tex So then this license is both machine-based AND user-based, meaning it can only be installed on one machine and can only be used by one user (even if that machine has multiple users)?

Dennis Crane Either one PC with multiple users though no several instances of launched application are allowed OR several PCs with the same person user (e.g. PC+Laptop).

I'd recommend you have the policy information for your product reworded here on Bits du Jour. The policy sounds very restrictive, when the truth is that it's actually quite reasonable.

Hi Dennis, many thanks for clarifying that a single owner can use the software on their PC and laptop.

Having looked at the feature matrix on your website it seems that TBS Cover Editor is missing one key feature of True BoxShot.

It seems that True BoxShot can have multiple objects in a single image but TBS Cover Editor can't.

I'd appreciate it if you'd confirm that this is in fact still the case with the version of TBS Cover Editor and if so, whether this limitation is likely to be removed any time soon.

Dennis Crane Yes. Scene with multiple objects like this http://www.trueboxshot.co...Output.jpg can be made in True Boxshot only.

I don't think this limitation will be removed soon. However side images made in TBS Cover Editor can be imported in True BoxShot and reused there for objects in a complex scene.

John Paradiso I have been using TBS Cover Editor since the last BDJ offer and I love it. Great piece of software and easy to use. I wish they would offer the True Box Shot deal as that allows you to add multiple objects in one scene and Cover Editor does not.

Chaim Krause I am interested to know if others are having trouble with Primus. Yesterday, purchasing a different piece of software, my "usual" credit card was "not working" after three attempts. I used an alternate credit card, and that finally worked. I have being using my "usual" credit card with Plimus for several years without incident. Today, attempting to purchase this software, again, my "usual" credit card was again not able to work. However, my alternate credit card is now also not working. I mention this here because I don't want others to miss out on the deal, or Indigo to miss out on sales, due to Plimus problems. Furthermore, both purchases showed the PayPal logo on the checkout web page, but it was not a payment option available in the dropdown for choosing how to pay.

Thanks for the order and sorry for the issue. It looks like Plimus is performing a kind of update in its payment processing system this winter. That's why one can experience some issues or delays with CC charging. I'm really sorry for the possible inconvenience however in most cases everything works flawlessly.

John Paradiso @Toni, Yes you can change the angle of the cover. You can put it straight-on or angled the other way. You just grab the image and you can change the orientation, real easy.

Lee H Your policy states "Transfer to another owned computer is not allowed". What exactly does that mean? What happens if I upgrade my computer? If I cannot transfer the program to a new computer (which I do often), this a deal killer for me. Thanks for your response.
