What are people saying about Tenorshare iAny Transfer

Dwight Simmons This is not free - since you must purchase the Tenorshare iTunes Data Recovery ($9.99), the deal costs $9.99.

It is disingenuous to say 100% free but you must purchase $9.99 of software.

It should be Purchase Tenorshare iTunes Data Recovery at ($9.99) get
Tenorshare iAny Manager ($0)

Bob Bacle Yes, you can get it for free. Just do NOT select the $9.99 one. Select the free one and download it. Then they send you a registration code via email.

Free Ride I don't say that often but this is the most opaque description of a software i have seen in a very long time.

The headline clearly says: Manage All iOS Data Without iTunes

And before iAny Manager even starts, you see this: http://i.imgur.com/sFucip5.png

The software in fact doesn't even run without iTunes installed on your computer, there is not really a reason for someone to download again a third party software (iAny Manager) when you need iTunes anyway if the intention for getting the deal is to have a alternative, like the desription says.

This is not a alternative to iTunes, it is wrapped around iTunes, it uses iTunes and needs iTunes and at the end, iTunes doesn't seem to be that bad if other software needs it as dependencies to be installed in order to be able to offer several features itself. That this software relies on iTunes is a important information and always should be part of the description to avoid confusions (and this will probably create them).

The registration details are the same for all after the first look at it.

Anyway, thanks BDJ for the offer but that is not really what i had expected after reading the description.

Greg Brown Free Ride: appreciate the heads up on this. For whatever reason, I have been unable to get iTunes to run on my PC. It USED to run, but no longer. Have tried all the online suggestions, still no go. I downloaded a program from here a while back (perhaps the same one?) and realized as you did that iTunes is still required. I love BitsDuJour and have bought many fine programs here over the years, but this descriptions does seem a tad misleading. Will I continue to be a fan of BitsDuJour? Oh yeah.... :-)

Mr Dave I agree with the others, very sad that descriptions say iTunes is not needed, then find it must be installed AFTER running iAnyManager. Why can't someone create a program for iPhones that DOESN'T need iTunes? iTunes caused many problems on my PC a few years back, very hard to get rid of all the junk it brought along for the ride. Never doing that again!

Patrick Ugorcak Ordered this software several hours ago but have not received an email with the registration code yet. How do I resolve this issue?

Joe M I have tried similar programs like this one, but they required iTunes to be installed before they worked. Does your program require iTunes to be installed?

Watcher1924 Do we have to install/register the program before the promotion period is over?

Dwight Simmons Truly a piece of garbage. I rolled back my version of Itunes because certain features were removed and the interface changed (for the worse).
So guess what?
Yep, After installing the software I find my version if Itunes is too low.
Not to bright in the marketing department.
Since the program depends on Itunes, I may as well keep Itunes instead of adding a third party interface.
BRW, without mentioning names, there are several Itune replacement programs out there that do not require Itunes to manage content.
You guys need to be more transparent as to what the programs do before you encourage folks to install them.

Lew Phillips This software is a nice idea and looks nice... too bad that it showed my iPad info with iPhone files... then hosed my iPhone so that I am now doing a factory reset. Glad I backed up first or I would be totally screwed. Sorry, Tenorshare, but I'm deleting this one from my PC.

Buzz User I've installed the trial version to test out before purchasing but I'm getting an error message saying that itunes is not installed on my PC. I have the latest version of iTunes installed so why am I getting this error message?
I'm running this on a windows 7 - 64 bit PC.

Apr 25 2015 at 9:35am Copy Link

Mike Shanahan Well, this is a real shame. I, like Buzz User above, downloaded and installed the trial software. Once I click on the iAny Transfer icon I only get a message that iTunes is not installed on my PC. I have the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I tried uninstalling the trial and trying again - only to get the same result. If this could be fixed, maybe the promotion could be run again? It seems there are always problems with these iTunes alternatives with one thing or another. I had high hopes for this one. Hope this can be fixed and they try again on BDJ.

Jeanie Kiser In 'Features' here, it states, "Effectively manage your iOS data without using iTunes." Unfortunately, you have to have iTunes installed in order to use this program.

I downloaded the program and received the following message from iAny Transfer, "No iTunes is installed on this computer. Please install it first. The drive containing the installation package of iTunes will be used when scanning your device. Go to Apple official website to download iTunes."

I did not see anywhere in the 'Features' or 'The Fine Print' section that you had to have iTunes installed in order to run this software.

The reason for my being interested in this program in the first place was the statement above about managing your iOS data without using iTunes. I had uninstalled iTunes quite some time ago, due to have many issues with the program and do not intend to re-install it.

I did not want to transfer files between iTunes and my PC, only manage music files on my PC and between internal and external hard drives. Thank you, but your product does not seem to be what I was looking for, unless I am missing something?

Constantin Florea @Jeanie Kiser, I am sorry about the issue. I have corrected the phrase you mentioned. iTunes is indeed required to run this program.

David User Can't get this to work - it installs then blows up saying that its iTransfer has stopped working and asks you to send an error file to the author. Not AV related unless you count Windows 10 Defender as an AV as I have tried it on a few machines.

Bit like free massive user testing, I guess

Itronic User I downloaded and installed the software without any problems but when I tried to register with the emailed registration code, I got this error "The Lisensed E-mail name or registration code you've entered is invalid!". I'm sure I correctly entered both my registered email and registration code multiple time. Help.

Itronic User Sorry! My bad. I didn't read the email carefully. Thank you Adam P.

Mark Magill OK, it installed properly, and seems to be communicating with my iPhone 5S just fine, but NONE of my photos show, at all. Any idea why? I was hoping to be able to offload some of them to permanent storage easily. I let it sit on "Photos" for quite a while, in case it was just iOS's typical slow-pokey file handler. Nothing.

Help?
