Danny This is really exact the same as Wondershare AllMyTube! Wondershare and Tenorshare work together, or that one and the same company?

smaragdus I bought this program some time ago, discovered a very annoying bug, contacted the developers and informed them about it, got a response that they would try to reproduce it and this was all- no fixes, no new version. I doubt whether this product will get any updates.

Col- Hectorz Yes you're right smaragdus !

There is a bug, big one and very annoying one .
Let's say you download a file for 15 or 20 minutes and suddenly you have that warning screen saying
" sorry for the inconvenience but this software have to close NOW.
Do you want to send a report to windows..."
No thank you ! Microsoft does not care about my soft is crashing.
And it's like this for long time, no correction have been made and yet they offer the same version here. It sound like:
"Give me your money and then you can always send me an E-mail to see if we ever gonna do any thing."
Beside that bug it's ok the video download is weird [multiple file] and a bit slow.
When it crash if you start-it again it might download the file correctly, but if you pay your web service by the load you pay for the transfer, again.
Other freeware agood or even bether sometime but youtube [as others] change their protocol every now and then so the downloader decome usless fast enough.
I have now powersoft-Streaming Video Recorder; very good, fast and accurate, never miss a download and no weird multiple or mess left here and ther to clean when finsh like Tenorshare Video Downloader does, even when it does not crash sometime you have to figure out what file are the good one and the others garbage !
But Tenorshare Video Downloader is free to test today, it's up to you.

Sandro Perotti Here it says: "Tenorshare Video Downloader lets you download AND CONVERT online videos", but then you are selling a separate converter. So, does the Downloader alone convert or not?

Constantin Florea @Janna Wells, Could you please clear your browser cache and try again? Also, please consider using other browsers while purchasing like IE, Chrome, Firefox or Opera. If you still encounter the issue, could you please send us at notify@bitsdujour.com a snapshot showing the page where you only see the $9.99 option?

Miroslav Cunic Well, I have a copy of Abelsoft YouTube downloader and some video converter that supports downloading videos, too. Some video owners or authors allow public to watch their videos on YouTube only. Downloading is disabled. That'why I haven't bought today's free offer.

amanda tsai @richard tarno,
Have you registered Tenorshare Video Downloader before? If so, could you please remove the previous version completely from your computer before using this one. After installing the software, please click menu icon in the top right window, in the drop down list, you can find the Register option.

richard tarno I don't recall registering it before. I searched my computer and the only Video Downloader folder is dated 12/13/201414. Inside this folder are various files and folders, most of which have earlier dates (i.e. Tenorshare Free YouTube Downloader Help, plugins, pic, image and update, all dated 10/12/2014). I may have deleted the file that I downloaded from BitsDuJour, so I'm reluctant to delete this folder.

damon mccoy No place to register it. I even uninstalled and tried again.

1

Constantin Florea @damon mccoy, The reason you see no place to register in the application is because the application is already registered in your case. I see you did participate in the 12/13/2014 giveaway promotion we had for this product which means it is possible you have it registered since then.

Tiffiny I try to give each download a fair chance, but I ended up uninstalling this. The built in browser is significantly slower than IE, Firefox and Chrome, and the "download" button never appeared next to video's. Also when pasting URL's into the "paste URL" section, it found the titles of some video's, and asked me to confirm the save location, but it didn't actually download anything (stuck at 0%). It should be noted, that while waiting for Tenorshare to download one of the video's, I downloaded the same video (using different software) with no problems, and Tenorshare was still stick on 0%

Narful User Downloaded it, Installed it, registered it. The browser would not do anything, just showed a blank white page with the URL youtube.com. Wouldn't go anywhere, wouldn't let me type in a different URL, wouldn't even let me ERASE youtube.com.

So I then pulled up Firefox, went to youtube and copied the URL of a video, and pasted it in the (download with link part of) the program. It found the correct video, but when I clicked download, it just did nothing. Several minutes later it was still at 0% downloaded, and it was a small video.

Concluded it was not going to work, at least for me on this Win10 machine. Uninstalled.

Jess I tried and it failed to install correctly and even uninstalling wasn't working on a WIN7X64 machine. Not sure what it is with Tenorshare products, iGetting Audio also did the same thing. After uninstalling I found the .exe's still running in task manager and tray icons sat there as well as folder left overs each time after an uninstall. Eventually I just gave up.

No harm done other than lost time, thank you BitsDuJour for the opportunity to assess the software without wasting and money to find all of this out the hard way .

J Holmes I cannot get it to download anything either. Registered the software and viewed a short Youtube video, tried cutting and pasting from both Chrome and Firefox, the Tenorshare app download does the same thing other users have indicated (nothing) even though I have a good internet connection. The app is useless if users cannot download anything to convert.

Mike Montes Have in the list 3 videos to download since Thursday, the 11th and still will not download. I have Windows 7. This program is NOT WORKING. From other unanswered user questions, the makers are too embarrassed to answer why this does not work. I guess I would not answer either if I created a non-working program that only works for me and not others. Maybe it's time to uninstall this worthless program and try something else THAT DOES WORK!

SoftCollector Video sites often change their protocols to make downloading videos impossible/difficult. Since this license will only be good until the new version comes out, when is that going to happen?

Mar 11 2017 at 1:37am Copy Link

0

paul zozem Is this for the most current version?

I see your website offers the Tenorshare Video Downloader as a 1 year license with unlimited upgrades. Is that that license?

But then in the Fin-Print tab here, it says, the program may be used indefinitely, but will cost to upgrade?

Please clarify.
