No matter how advanced, your digital camera produces noise that appears as undesirable dots, lines, or smudges of color in your images. While you could run your photos through algorithms that purport to reduce noise, you run the danger of eliminating critical detail and sharpness. But today's discount software promotion manages to remove noise without compromising detail - it's Topaz DeNoise!

Topaz DeNoise is an Adobe Photoshop plug-in that removes fixed, pattern, and random noise from your digital images. With Topaz DeNoise, you can recover image detail while restoring previously obscured lines and edges, better than graphics packages that cost hundreds of dollars more. Just a few moments with Topaz DeNoise, and you'll be able to smooth out colors, restore shadow tones, and more, giving you the freedom to shoot photos in low light or other noisy conditions with confidence.

You'll be amazed at the results that you'll achieve with Topaz DeNoise. Easily remove up to four stops of noise and sharpen colors and edges with blazing processing speed. You can even go through all of your old digital images, restoring them to masterpiece-level quality!

This promotion includes the following:
Windows Version ($79.99)
Mac Version ($79.99)

John Betancourt Tried to order, but it came up at full price (no coupon in the coupon field). I put "bitsdujour" in as the coupon -- just a guess! -- and it took $32 off. (Can't wait to see if it's fixed; I'm expecting to lose power from the hurricane shortly.) So if anyone else has the same problem, here's a solution.

Pino Castriota I ordered it. Wish I could try it out, but seems I may have been ripped off. I downloaded the software, but there is nothing on my computer anywhere. I tried to find a contact to Topaz, but of course, no contact info anywhere on the site. No email to verify my purchase or my download. NOTHING!!! Not happy! I also registered on Topaz Labs to hopefully get someones attention on their forum or get some help, but of course, I received no email to activate my account. I'm hoping someone from Topaz Labs sees this and can help me out, otherwise I will have to recommend to stay away from this one.

Frank Stephens I know that people were complaining about the BDJ ordering, but Topaz Labs also has screwed-up ordering via their website. Don't be put off by bad web skills. They make serious professional / prosumer level products. They have great tutorials. Also, don't be put off by the fact that this is a Photoshop plugin. It should work in any of the endless commercial and freeware applications that support Photoshop plugins, including paint.net (via another plugin which accepts Photoshop plugins). You can also use a free program from Topaz Labs, or a cool editor which has also been on sale, don't know about now (sorry, no time to check anything right now, I shouldn't be taking the time to post this but these are great products). I have most tools from Topaz Labs and the Plugin Site. Photo noise reduction packages all work differently. Topaz Labs products have clear UIs, you can't do anything with the Plugin Site tools without thoroughly studying the Help files. The video here is quite long but well worth watching. This is primarily designed for high-quality cameras that produce RAW files, but it will also work on JPEGs. Types of noise and noise-reduction tools are all different. When dealing with photos taken by low-quality cameras producing low-quality JPEGs, I find that wavelet noise reduction and sharpening can be very useful, you generally need to use an astronomy package to do that.

S B From my perspective, Frank Stephens' remarks are exactly on the mark.

Topaz DeNoise is one of the premier noise-removal tools, and has been very well reviewed. I find it very effective and fun to use.

DeNoise does indeed work very well on JPGs.

Though it has many logically-arranged controls, it is wonderfully effective using only it's presets, though you can still tweak things further with the controls.

It often seems like magic in its ability to remove noise that obscures an image, and letting edges and small details remain.

Recommended.

Skip User I downloaded the trial and tried to use it, but I never got the email with the activation key. Trial results looked good on the image I tried, but it can't be saved back into PS without the key.
