Overtkill How well does your program work with popular forum software like PHPBB, SMF, Vbulletin, Invision Power Board, etc?

umike I really like the feature "Preview HTML and CSS while you write it". I have installed a demo copy of TopStyle but it seems that the preview screen only updates when I change and save the HTML file. When I edit the CSS, the preview screen is blank.
How can the preview screen display the HTML and does auto refresh whenever I change and save the CSS file? If I can preview the effect of my CSS changes as I edit my CSS, I will definitely buy TopStyle.
Your support email link is not working for me so I decide to post the question here.

TopStyle Support When editing CSS, by default TopStyle uses an automatically-generated HTML page for previewing styles. By clicking the "Customize Preview Files" toolbutton Preview files above the preview you can add an existing HTML document to the list of available preview files. When an existing HTML document is selected as the preview file, TopStyle's previewer will display it as it would appear when the current style sheet is applied to it.

Please note the preview is updated when (1) auto-update is enabled here: Options (F8) Preview, and (2) you make a change and then move the input caret to another position.

PW I have had Topstyle since it was developed with Homesite many years ago, happily still using it as Topstyle 5, and I was happy to pay the price for it without discount. So if you are into web development of any kind this is a great tool to have in your toolbox.

I look forward to future versions :)

FinanceGuy Hmmm... I used to use Homesite way back then and was about to purchase TopStyle today. Unfortunately, after using the trial for a few minutes it froze and just stopped responding. Kind of disappointed.

Hank Friedman I have been looking for an HTML editor for years that would provide auto-update features that work well in real time.

I thought your program would be ideal, but when it auto-updates the preview, it immediately goes to the next line, so you can't see the lines you just typed.

Am I missing something? I tried the Preview function in each of the browser choices with the same result.
