What are people saying about Udemy Supersale

Celso Flores I have taken a few Udemy courses. Mostly in photography and IT. They are very good.

Brian W Dear udemy, Why do you put more effort into discounts than creating a useful website? Do you really believe that displaying 9 courses per page is effective? (this offer is 14 pages long!) I suggest that you add a display choice: list (user sortable on title, price, category, developer, hours), icon, category, search terms.

I have started ignoring your offers because I can't be bothered to spend the time loading and scrolling through the page. There was some course I was interested in and was going to wait for a sale, but I will just skip it. Too much effort to search through your page for it! (No I don't remember the name, but if I would look through a list for it, but not 14 pages of icons.)

Tim John I've clicked the "Get This Deal" link. Been taken to Udemy. Selected the course. But, when taken to the payment section the selected course remains at full price. I assumed that I could select any of the courses that were available via your link. Was I wrong?

Constantin Florea @Jayme Hunt - I have checked it against a few random courses offered in the deal and the code does work for those. For which course(s) are you having trouble using it?

Doug Atkinson The code worked for me for two courses. Thanks!

Paul Crozier Jayme, I bought 2 this morning with that code. Is the course you want in the sale? It's everything on the link not anything on the Udemy site.

Jayme Hunt Ok. I was trying to get one that looked like one of the pictures, but maybe isn't on the list? It's an Arduino course.

Constantin Florea @Jayme Hunt - I assume you are referring to Arduino Step by Step. I have checked and the Arduino Step by Step course is not offered in this promotion.

However we do have an EveryDay deal on this page for Arduino Step by Step:

Nitin This deal is not working for me.
On hitting the "get this deal" button and you are taken to a page on Udemy.com which states the following:
"Pay only $10 for these courses! Use promo code '10TODAY'!
Valid through 10/13/14 11:59 PDT. Only courses on this page apply."

Following are the problems as per this page:
1) The promotion is limited to only those courses that are displayed on this page
2) The promo code does not work because it has expired way back in 2014

Does it work for anyone else?

Constantin Florea Apologies about the issue with the prices on this promotion page.

The issue is now fixed.

The offer is as follows: the $19.00 price for each course is for customers from USA and Canada, for European customers the price is EURO 21.00 for each course.

Constantin Florea @Nitin User, I apologize about the confusion generated by the title of the promotion. I have just updated the title, to better reflect the promotion. The new title is:
"Over 10,000 Courses To Select From, Pay Only $19 Per Course!"

So for this promotion, there are over 10,000 courses you can select from.

It seems the course you mention does not take part in this promotion.

James K Can I purchase the course now and take it later?

If so, how much later is allowed?

I was thinking about getting a few, then doing them one at a time.

Nitin Hey James I guess you must have figured out the answer already.
But if you haven't here is what I see in description of MOST of the courses on the website:
"Includes
Lifetime access
30 day money back guarantee!
Available on iOS and Android "

So you should be able to buy now and have lifetime access.
That's what I am planning to do.

_*_ Funny, the one course I think about taking is not on the list for the sale price. I see it at full price but no matter what I do it will not show up at the sale price.
EDIT: Make that two courses that I considered were not on sale.

I guess I will wait for the $10 per course sale that was just here about 2 weeks ago, once again.

Pa had Cannot see any course for USD19 promised. The site offers just "Lifetime learning" for 22 EUR (about 20% more than this "deal" offered by BitsDuJour). The site offers 90% sale, not the "96% off" presented here.

_*_ I tried buying from this today 11/18/2016 and all courses show up as $12 not $10.

I even wrote to Udemy support and they told me (incorrectly) that the $10 sale ended.

Such poor communication; I would just like to get this deal and have it honored since I am clearly within the sale time frame.

It took them all day to respond to me with an incorrect answer.

Mike McLoughlin It's worse in the UK, started off as £10 ($12.50), now £12 ($15).
Mind you, even at the higher amount, it's a fantastic discount and great value for money, especially if you choose a course that's expensive to begin with.

_*_ So, that is it? A sale simply changes in the middle of the sale without it being honored?
This new $12.00 pricing is not a Bits sale, it is simply the current price for a sale at Udemy itself.

Ela S. 10 bucks are a great offer to follow-up for courses up to 200€/$. One need not to start a course immediately after purchase, but Udemy offers life-long access.

Following MOOCs at Coursera, edX etc, which offer academic courses at university level, Udemy's courses are more made from practitioners for practitioners, and there is a wide range of themes.

You need not to write down everything, there are no heavy quizzes, certificates are not really accredited. But it is real fun to learn, courses are not that long, there some outstanding topics others don't offer.

It's visual learning - much better than reading a whole book. If you need to cover a wide range of themes in a short time, this is an excellent opportunity. And the platform has really become much more structured and diversified.
