CFGuy Dear Visiontechnology,
This looks like a very innovative (and potentially helpful) program at an extremely reasonable price-point. Question: is there a way (perhaps on your company website) where I could take a pre-sales online color test to see if, as a potential consumer, I am "color blind' (or perhaps even "color-challenged") to see if the program would, in fact, benefit me if I purchase it? I do a lot of graphic arts work, so if I do have any color-deficiencies I could see a real use for a program like this. Thanks. -Cfguy

Alexander Deliyannis Hi, I take the test from start to end, but each time it seems to start all over without providing any kind of summary and/or interpretation of the results. Is this the intention or is something not running well? I've tried with three different browsers.

Thank you for posting the link to the vision color test. I began to take it, but I must say that my experience was the same as Alexander's (above). The test just kept cycling and cycling ... and I have to admit that I became frustrated and just gave up (and I am usually a pretty patient person, especially with test that might help diagnose or impact my health). I have taken this type of test in many optometrists office as part of a comprehensive eye/vision exam (where they used a series of cards with these patterns on them) and I must say none of those exams came even close to the time and amount of cards shown as even the first round of your online test. I do understand the concepts of thoroughness and repeated tests (for validity) in healthcare; however given what I experienced with your online test, I believe the majority of people wold not be willing to sit through so much (repeated) testing, and would become frustrated (like Alexander and I) causing them to abandon the test and getting no results which would not only defeat the purpose of letting them know that they have a visual problem that needs attention (and would make them candidates to purchase your program) but would also cost you potential sales that almost any company needs (even little to non-profit companies) to be able to stay in business.

Your website is very informative, and your product's price is extremely affordable, so it is obvious to me that you are someone who is very passionate about helping people with vision issues. I think that if you would adjust the online test to make it more "user friendly", requiring far less time and repetition, you will be in a much better position for growth.

I applaud you for the many honorable qualities listed in the previous paragraph, and hope that you are able to have much success with such an altruistic program as this. I think you are on the right path (with just some "tweaking" needed on the online vision color test).

Colin McAllister Alexander Deliyannis... I get the same thing too. It's frustrating knowing that there ARE some colours I can't see, but the webpage doesn't explain which. Why not?

I suppose the idea is that if you recognise there ARE colours you cannot see clearly, then you should be buying the Vision software.

I think at $5 I'm happy to take a risk on the purchase! :-)
