You know what’s better than links on your website? Images! And not just any image, but image maps, those magical pictures that have hotspots embedded in them! Click on something in the picture, jump to a new page. But what kind of sorcery is involved in creating these interactive wonders? Actually, just a copy of today’s discount software promotion, Visual Imagemapper 5!

Visual Imagemapper 5 lets you create image maps quickly and easily, without the hassle of having to program the code for them. With Visual Imagemapper 5, you’ll be able to embue any image with one or more clickable hotspots that act as links. It looks better than text links, and will actually encourage a higher level of engagement with your website, especially with people who are too busy to actually read text. Other features include the ability to copy and paste hotspots between image maps and the capability of specifying the exact coordinates of where you want a hotspot to appear.

Javier Gil Software looks impressive.
How well do those image maps work in mobile devices: Iphone, Ipad, Android phones, Android tablets, etc ?

Brian H This program looks really good, at a terrific price point- and I love "free upgrades for lifetime of program"! Question- can "Visual Imagemapper 5" be used and integrated with websites created with popular web site creation software, such as "WebEasy", " Web Studio 5.0", "Xara Web Designer", "WebPlus X6 " ... ? And it the integration process relatively easy or can it be more complex depending on the brand of website design program being used? Thanks! -Brian

Vicentas Hello.
Javier Gil: As long as the mobile device supports standard html imagemaps it should work great.

RHays: At our website we supports paypal checkout, but to take advantage of this great offer you have to use the Buy Now button on this site.

Brian H: Have not tested those software so I don't know. But I think most website creation software supports html imagemap without any problem.

Stephen Kreyling: As far as I know you could import your own html codes into your wordpress site, then there should not be any problem using imamaps on your wordpress site.

Lupke Brother @RHays

paypal is available when you click on the buy now button on this page. You can see the paypal button right below the total order amount.

RHays Yeah I saw the paypal button, that was not it... When I clicked the button it said I had to fill out all the info below including the credit card info.

As a follow up I went back after several minutes and it worked fine with no problems, so I will blame it on the internet gremlin.. As I did nothing different.

Thanks for help and time...

Hawkeye I sure this is an un-documented bug.

1. Created two hotspots in a JPG and the preview worked fine and saved.
2. Reloaded the same file and made a change under options.
2a. Changed the tooltip
3. Tried to do another preview and got a message about restarting with some option changes.
4. Saved the file and exited and restarted the Visual Imagemapper.
5. Tried to reopen the file and can only get the error below.

"There has been an error while trying to open the file. Loading has been cancelled."

Has anyone else seen any errors along these lines?

Thanks,

Vicentas Hello Hawkeye.
We have tried to recreate the issue you describe. We find the preview button issue. This will be fixed asap. We did not manage to corrupt the VIP file, even when we follow your thorough description. You are welcome to send your vip file and your image file in an zipped file to supportvicentas.com for further investigation.
