Jon Tackabury The voice language is anything that Windows supports. You can download many language packs through the Windows Features option in the control panel.

Colin McAllister Looks a really interesting program, but with no real explanation of how to get started I'm going to have to pass. I'm not really all that fussed about controlling games, I was interested in controlling apps such as Word, PowerPoint, my calendar, opening and quickly searching/browsing emails, etc. However, the few videos there are on YouTube look ridiculously complex, or outdated, and possibly both?

Maybe the author could consider allowing recording of macros, for the benefit of those who can't create " complex scripted macros using the built-in C# code editor. "

Jim Buchanan I may have missed the explanation so I'll ask anyway. What is the difference between the VoiceBot Pro Standard License v3.6 ($5.25) and the VoiceBot Pro Personal License ($8.75) besides $3.50? The number of built-in macros?

Rohs Can voicebot only issue commands or can it also do voice to text? Does it have the ability to listen for a wakeup phrase. Like "wake up Voicebot" If so can you define the phrase

HJ B large number of computer game profiles. I assume that, when they are loaded, they will work appropriately with those games.

My interest is in simply using the program for control of a computer in doing the usual things with the operating system and with applications such as MS Office. As far as I can tell, the producers of the program have done little to make it clear to users as to how those basic tasks are accomplished when the program is opened.

The video on their website is of no use, in that regard.

In addition, screenshots are provided, with no explanatory text. A few paragraphs of explanation should have been provided. An inexpensive program is not worth it if I have to spend a good deal of my time discovering what the promoters should have described, in the first place.

HJ B For the past year and three quarters, I have had a comment posted noting the lack of any explanation as to the extent, if any, this program can accept and execute commands to the Windows operating system and to programs such as those included in Microsoft Office. The silence of the developer on this issue is deafening.

Jon Tackabury @HJ B: Sorry for not responding sooner, we don't always monitor this but in the future you can contact our support directly and we'll help you out right away. To answer your question you can do anything with VoiceBot that you can bind an action to. So for example you could create a MS Word VoiceBot profile where you say "Save Document" and bind that to "Ctrl + S".

1. I understand you to be saying that any keyboard shortcut can be replicated by VoiceBot. Is that correct?

2. There are several programs that permit the creation of macros that can be summoned by keyboard shortcuts. Is VoiceBot able to execute those macros by calling keyboard shortcuts that execute those macros?

3. Microsoft Visual Basic macros can be summoned by keyboard shortcuts. Is VoiceBot able t execute the Visual Basic macros?

4. Just as your have for games, do you have a collection of multi-step macros for System 11 and for MS Office, that you make available top users?

2+3. Yes, VoiceBot simulates keypresses as if you were typing them yourself so any key combo that works for you will work for VoiceBot
4. We rely on community contributed profiles and no one has submitted anything for MS Office yet, sorry.
