Norman Wong @Harry Wallington - How to activate Vole Products?
1 Run the software.
2, Click the top right “Advance” button and select the “Renew” sub menu item to open the “Vole Edutainment Renew” dialog.
3, Fill the blank in Basic table and click “Renew” button to activate the software online.

Harry Wallington Thank you for your quick response, Norman - that's worked fine. Perhaps if it had said Register/Renew - then it would have been a bit more obvious.

I am downloading everything for my PC lappy on a Mac and installing on the PC but I don't put the PC online. Is it possible to email a registration?

Thanks, frank

Jeffrey Taylor @Norman Wong. Hello again.

I'd like to strongly suggest that you insist that Derek Lee (and anyone else involved) not include the following statement (or similar statements) in the "Fine Print" section, or in the "product review" section of any of your BDJ promos: "After you purchase Vole Edutainment Professional Edition - 12 months license it may be used for 12 months and will not function after that."

Based on what you told me yesterday, it is totally incorrect to say that after 12 months the product "will not function." You said that the accurate description of what happens at that time is found on the Sanwhole web site in one of the FAQs, which indicates that after 12 months the user loses access to the Pro features, but can continue to use and update the product as a free version.

However, almost no user will discover that is the case. 99% will simply accept what is written here--as they should be able to do. Unfortunately, as presently written, this misstatement is probably scaring away potential buyers. I can't imagine why anyone would even want to try the product under the conditions described, knowing that any configurations and work products they had created would inevitably be lost at some future time.

Derek only needs to rewrite the statement (which would apply to ALL of your BDJ offers) to say that "After you purchase 'Vole [ANY PRODUCT] - 12 months license,' you may use the Professional features for 12 months. If you have not purchased a renewal of the Pro license by that time, you can continue to use the product indefinitely, but only the features of the free version will be available."

Norman Wong @Jeffrey Taylor - Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I will discuss this with BDJ in the next promotion. I believe that your suggestions are very helpful to me and BDJ. Thanks again.

Dieter Althaus It does not seem to work properly on a WinXP machine as advertised.

Error message:

"Product: Vole Edutainment -- Error 1931. The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly. Package version: 5.0.9600.16384, OS Protected version: 4.5.6001.22159"

Michael R. Is the renewal-price after this 12 months also $1,50?
If yes, can I renew it anytime later or has this be done within the active membership, i.e. within the 12 months?

May 26 2015 at 2:18am Copy Link

0

Norman Wong @Michael R. - Yes, the renewal price is $1.50/year too, and you don't have to renew within the valid service duration. You can click here: http://www.bitsdujour.com...tId=103510 to see the previous comment. Thank you for your question!

Michael R. I think about giving away an additional copy of this program to a person, who is teacher (in pension) in Germany. How does this 4 year-extension work?

Do I understand it right, that I can provide him with an usb-stick containing the program, a self-created vole-document and perhaps a batch-file for the call and he does not have to install anything additional on his computer, just run the batch-file and can access to call my assembled word, pdf, video- and pix-files?

This would be a better way, instead of installing program on another person's computer...

May 26 2015 at 3:57am Copy Link

Norman Wong @Michael R. - It is very simple to check eligibility for school user - just send us an email via school email address. You can go Support | FAQ and see "Check eligibility for school user" for detail.

Vole Edutainment supports portable version which can work fine in usb-disk without installing anything into your computer.

If the teacher has usb-disk. S/he can download the portable version and decompress it to the usb-disk. You only send your single vmc library file which includes all files to him.

Please keep in mind that if the teacher doesn't activate the portable version online, s/he can read all files in your library but can't modify it. The process activating portable version is same with the process activating installer version. The process activating portable version doesn't write anything into system, too.

Norman Wong @Dany, Lan, Mark ... and Constantin - We are very sorry for late sending your renew code emails. Local ISP updates their system and temporarily break all optical access from 05:00 AM (GMT), this is a unexpected and seldom malfunction for them, for us too. We have increased your accounts another one week service duration. Thank you for your supports and understanding.

Stephen Brown The registration code arrived just after lunch (UK time) today I'm a little confused. I have Sandwhole Studio installed. The licence says I can use the program indefinitely despite having installed a six month registration key. If I use this latest key, will it remove the use indefinitely or is the code sent just for the edutainment part of the program? I get that you use one executable for all of your applications (which I think is a great idea). If I used the code sent would it add the edutainment part of the program, then disable it after six months leaving the base program still usable?

Thanks in advance for any advice

regards Stephen Brown aka Whiterabbit-uk

May 9 2021 at 5:04am Copy Link

1

Norman Wong @Stephen Brown, Hello.

Sanwhole Studio contains all our software (I'm glad you think we do it well). The license of each software is managed separately and stored in your Sanwhole account. If you have multiple licenses for the same software, you can assign them to multiple computers. Installing a new license will not have any adverse effects on you. And either you can extend the use time, or you can activate more computers.

So, If you used the code sent it would add the edutainment part of the program, then disable it after six months leaving the base program still usable.

Norman Wong !!!!!! Not long ago, Microsoft's Windows 11 system began plagiarizing our Vole Windows Expedition (first released on April 16, 2013, and first sold on BitsDuJour on January 4, 2014). And now Microsoft's EDGE browser is plagiarizing our Vole Internet Expedition (first released on February 27, 2013, first sold on BitsDuJour on December 07, 2013) Although Microsoft's current plagiarism has not yet reached the full functionality of our software (approximately 1/5), we have decided not to remain silent about Microsoft's repeated shameful behavior. In the next day or two, we will disclose their plagiarism behavior in detail on the homepage. See homepage for details https://sanwhole.com

For those who share our views and can post on social media such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, or large blogs to expose Microsoft's plagiarism behavior, we will provide a free LTUD version of the corresponding software (permanent use, 1 year upgrade, maximum feature version. Value $180.00). For those who have received more than 3 likes or reposts, We will provide a free LTUG version (permanent use, permanent upgrade, highest feature version. Value $450.00). Please send a screenshot to norman

sanwhole.com. You can immediately obtain the registration code. We would like to thank you in advance.
