I am downloading everything for my PC lappy on a Mac and installing on the PC but I don't put the PC online. Is it possible to email a registration?

I'd like to strongly suggest that you insist that Derek Lee (and anyone else involved) not include the following statement (or similar statements) in the "Fine Print" section, or in the "product review" section of any of your BDJ promos: "After you purchase Vole Edutainment Professional Edition - 12 months license it may be used for 12 months and will not function after that."

Based on what you told me yesterday, it is totally incorrect to say that after 12 months the product "will not function." You said that the accurate description of what happens at that time is found on the Sanwhole web site in one of the FAQs, which indicates that after 12 months the user loses access to the Pro features, but can continue to use and update the product as a free version.

However, almost no user will discover that is the case. 99% will simply accept what is written here--as they should be able to do. Unfortunately, as presently written, this misstatement is probably scaring away potential buyers. I can't imagine why anyone would even want to try the product under the conditions described, knowing that any configurations and work products they had created would inevitably be lost at some future time.

Derek only needs to rewrite the statement (which would apply to ALL of your BDJ offers) to say that "After you purchase 'Vole [ANY PRODUCT] - 12 months license,' you may use the Professional features for 12 months. If you have not purchased a renewal of the Pro license by that time, you can continue to use the product indefinitely, but only the features of the free version will be available."

Dieter Althaus It does not seem to work properly on a WinXP machine as advertised.

Error message:

"Product: Vole Edutainment -- Error 1931. The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly. Package version: 5.0.9600.16384, OS Protected version: 4.5.6001.22159"

Never had such a behaviour before.

Michael R. I think about giving away an additional copy of this program to a person, who is teacher (in pension) in Germany. How does this 4 year-extension work?

Do I understand it right, that I can provide him with an usb-stick containing the program, a self-created vole-document and perhaps a batch-file for the call and he does not have to install anything additional on his computer, just run the batch-file and can access to call my assembled word, pdf, video- and pix-files?

This would be a better way, instead of installing program on another person's computer...

Norman Wong @Michael R. - It is very simple to check eligibility for school user - just send us an email via school email address. You can go Support | FAQ and see "Check eligibility for school user" for detail.

Vole Edutainment supports portable version which can work fine in usb-disk without installing anything into your computer.

If the teacher has usb-disk. S/he can download the portable version and decompress it to the usb-disk. You only send your single vmc library file which includes all files to him.

Please keep in mind that if the teacher doesn't activate the portable version online, s/he can read all files in your library but can't modify it. The process activating portable version is same with the process activating installer version. The process activating portable version doesn't write anything into system, too.

Sanwhole Studio contains all our software (I'm glad you think we do it well). The license of each software is managed separately and stored in your Sanwhole account. If you have multiple licenses for the same software, you can assign them to multiple computers. Installing a new license will not have any adverse effects on you. And either you can extend the use time, or you can activate more computers.

So, If you used the code sent it would add the edutainment part of the program, then disable it after six months leaving the base program still usable.
