Avanquest Software Hi Rob,

There was an upgrade price (you should have received an email from Avanquest awhile back) but I believe it was no less than the offer price we have today.

Michael R This product does not have have the ability to handle forums, has it?

What is the difference of the e-commece-handling between the Pro and Deluxe version? Is ite possible to sell items via PayPal without having a 3rd party involved (i.e. user -> WebEasy -> PayPal -> WebEasy -> me (getting info, who paid, etc.))? With credit-card the same?

Thank you...

Billie Gray I love BDJ, but I think it's better to buy the full boxed version at Amazon. com for $39.99 w/free shipping. Then you don't need extras like download insurance, or buying the cd, which take you up and beyond the $39.99. If there is one, a manual is a help also, because the reviews and my experience with avanquest support point to the need to get all the help you can elsewhere.

Avanquest Software Michael R,

WebEasy does not support forum creation. The Pro version supports payments via Paypal whereas the E-commerce version also supports shopping cart creation and credit card payment. Lastly, when selling via PayPal it's a direct relationship between you and them - WebEasy simply helps you incorporate the html onto your site.

Paul B This comment was intended to be here yesterday, however unfortunately it ended up under the review of the other programme.
So out of fairness I have decided to post it here today, all be it late:

'Used to be good. It's not really changed a lot over the years.
If you need a basic WYSIWYG interface then this will do.
If you would like to see the code, edit the code direct with this product - you can't.
The lack of customisation is disappointing.'

Tom Colvin Web Easy Professional 8 is rated http://website-creation-s...index.html , with Serif's WebPlus X4 [more expensive but much more powerful] a close second. Top Ten also offers an excellent video introduction to web creation software, as well as a video review of Web Easy. The written reviews of all 12 software packages are clear and fair. This category of software is currently an intense interest of mine, and I've been researching it thoroughly over the past few weeks. I myself have invested in the Serif program, because of its additional power and its other software packages important for professional, but economical design. Still, Web Easy certainly deserves its number one ranking for its ease of use and huge template library. I've also evaluated most of the free online website options. Some of them are very good for personal use, but I'd be hesitant to recommend one for business use.
