Shazza Couple of questions:
1) Does this use the Java Runtime Engine (or any other 3rd party runtime engine)? If known, can you tell me the development language, so I can assess whetherI want to install the trial.
2) Is there a way to stop the page visits from being seen as visitors etc in Google Analytics?

Webtweaktools @Shazza, 1) The development language is C++, this program does not require any 3rd party runtime engines. The installation program includes everything the program needs to start right after installation without any annoying requirements.

2) You can configure Fast Link Checker to use a specific user agent when requesting files from a web server, then exclude traffic from that user agent in Google Analytics.

Webtweaktools It appears that many users can't figure out how to use the "View" screen. We are aware about this issue and will make the "View" screen more user friendly. But for current version, this screenshot shows how to view broken links from the "View" screen:

W.r.t. Your comment re the "view" and "current version". When is the next version due for release, and what is the "subscription period" that we are would receive under this offer i.e. Will it be a free upgrade?

Webtweaktools @Shazza, This license does not differ in any way from the original license except the price discount. The "subscription period" starts from 1 year. Within that period you can receive free upgrades and support. The next version is due for release in 2-3 months, it will include mostly user interface improvements.

Shazza I've just tested this and it reports errors on links that actually work.
I get
a) "500 Internal Server Error" on a link to a facebook page (which I can click on and go to without issue)
b) "999 Request denied" Error on a link to a LinkedIn page,(which I can click on and go to without issue).

In both cases the status is "Broken" yet they are not. Is this is a config setting or a bug in the software?

Wearsie Jackson Yikes! Hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years! (APRIL 20, 2018) Has this been abandon?

Good product though - and the price point is certainly right! The trial was worthwhile so I'll be purchasing, but for the 1 year updates and support - 3 years of updates seems rather pointless based on the lack of updates. ;)

Jon Spain I bought this in Jan 2021 and never got around to installing it before my laptop died. Trying to log in using details provided, I'm told that the password (theirs) is incorrect. Saying I've lost the password brings me back to same failed login, which is also needed for a support query, hence this plea for help here, please don't make the process so circular!

L. D. User I realise that this probably sounds like a fairly stupid question to most people, however I'm somewhat confused by what it actually means in the 'Fine Print' section where it says ONE installion per footprint with regard to installing the program.

I understand that the License ONLY allows installation on a single computer and that a 'single hardware footprint' would (I assume) mean that only ONE instance of the program can be installed on that computer due to the License being a 'per computer' License rather than a 'per user' License. And so I also gather that 'everyone' who has a user profile on that computer may access and run the single instance of the installed program from within their own user profile. Is that correct?

However I'm a little confused as to the following regarding only allowing ONE installation per hardware footprint...

1) So does that mean that I can only install the program and thus create a hardware footprint just ONE single time on the computer? Or am I allowed to re-install the program again if necessary (STILL only 'one' instance of it though), such as if I need to re-install the operating system from scratch for some reason?

Hoping someone can answer this for me.

Webtweaktools You can use one copy of the software on only a single computer at any one time. You can activate your software as many times as you want on the same computer (with the same hardware fingerprint). Activation is based on the hardware configuration of your computer. If you upgrade some significant parts on your computer, reactivation might be required. You will be able to reactivate your software on a system with different hardware fingerprint automatically in 6 months after last activation.
