John User Good God, when I joined CERN I didn't have to fill in this much information about myself? I assumed I would jet an email with how to download the software and then another with the Key! but no, they want your life story first!
I hope it's worth it.
Why do they need so much information..? because they will sell it and I'll be inundated with more email rubbish.

Jo Ann Rice You know, the first thing I did was try to get the program, then ended up with the same hoops to jump through so before I did all that I went to their support area and checked out their forums to see what people had to say.

Lo and behold I went through 37 pages of forum posts which all had approx. 15 to 20 posts on them each. About 99% of them were in various languages which is fine, but the key thing I saw was 736 posts and not a single answer to a single one of them. All posted within the past 2 years.

That tells me support at this company is not very good. I think I'll pass on this.

Mark Magill @John User: I just did the download/activation and all it asked me for was my email address and to pick a password. The entire process took well under a minute... Hard to say what happened -- I'm not related to the author's interests at all.

It looked like an interesting program at first, but although it claims to import existing work, it only imports its OWN existing work. The templates offered are about 50/50 paid/free. Even the free ones say "buying..." when activated. Then when I went back to change the template, it said they were not available, and encouraged me to buy the "deluxe" version of the program. Although it looked interesting, I don't have the time for this many unanswered questions and fussing.

Tiberius I just installed it. It works fine. What do you expect?
The templates offered whether free or not always seem boring to me. The best is to create your own starting from a free template. It could take hours, but at least there is no programming to do. It should save a bit of time. Time! Who has time? I just wonder if a site created with that program would work fine online. HTML or HTML6 or else?
Thank you to let us try it for free for an undetermined amount of time.

geo User UNFORTUNATELY, the sign up process using the link given in the receipt does not work. I enter my info and email address and then get a reply from X5 with a link to activate my account. When trying to activate the account using that link I am taken back to the registration/Login page that I just used to sign up. An attempt to just log on using the email and pswrd that I set up in the previous steps returns an "email or password mismatch" message. An attempt to reset the password using the "forgot password" link returns a not valid email reply.
I also tried FF an IE, same results. If not registered you cannot get activation key. Where can I get help with this?

Carolyn Donner I have used an older version (evolution 8) of this program for years and loved it, but wanted the newer version because the video showed it can be used to create a responsive website which can be seen on all devices (tablet, phones, desktop, etc.) This is not true of the free compact 11 version!!! To get that ability you have to BUY the Evolution 12 version!!! While they will give you a nice discount on it, they still deceived me into getting the free version which I don't need. If they are going to offer a video of the version they are offering for free, it should just show the abilities of that version, not some other version of the software!
