D J The saga continues. I was contacted by the X5 publisher and given a URL to download the software, That was accomplished and the software was installed BUT it has yet to be registered. I completed the online registration form, agreed to the publisher's license rules, passed the Captcha test just fine and sent the info on its way. An HOUR later and still no confirmation email from the X5 publisher. So, I tried registering again using the same exact data as before, passed the Captcha test, agreeing the the license again and clicked the register button. This time the X5 website simply erased everything I just entered into the registration form. So I have software installed that I can not use because it not registered and the registration process refuses to register me. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable,

Eustace Phenackertiban Wow! That's quite an activation process! As a new user, having to register first, I ended up with seven(!) open Web pages when all was said and done. However, after following the (unnecessarily convoluted) activation procedure, the software is indeed now activated, and shows "Professional Edition LTUD" in the title bar the indication of full activation, instead of "Free Edition").
HOWEVER... I should note that the "Joseph Hopkins Phd" template throws a "404 File Not Found" error when download is attempted. Also, when I double-click the "Vole PageShare User Guide.chm.opdownload" file after downloading, I get an "Interrupted Network error" and nothing downloads, If I remove the "opdownload" from the filename, then double-click, I get a CHM-style tree menu, but none of the links does anything when clicked. How do I get the actual User Guide for THIS program (Vole Media CHM) because it is most definitely NOT intuitive in its use. Thank you.

Richy Download link send twice...none work. Waited five minutes, then link goes off; ordered another link...same thing. The damn thing's for free so I'm not concerned about it not working. Perhaps I'll try again later when the server not so F'ed up.
