What are people saying about WinArchiver Pro

Sputnik Questions for the WinArchiver maker...

Does the setup file of WinArchiver comes with Open Candy as PowerISO does ?

Do you intend to withdraw this really undesirable element from your softwares ?

Will you make the appropriate changes to your download link so that Avira AntiVir will not block it as malware ?

Thank you very much for your eventual commitment toward your softwares and customers.

Techtoysavvy @sputnik Thanks!
One of the reasons I buy from BDJ is to avoid junk food like open candy.

I should use the /nocandy switch and check it in a sandbox with TU.

Good thing I still need to install PowerIso.

This is too much trouble for me to buy use tainted software

LU My Norton Internet Security and Anti Malware bytes software did not report any warnings this time about any Open Candy hidden software for this download.

What advantages does this software have over WinRAR?

Mar 28 2015 at 12:15pm Copy Link

Techtoysavvy I do have v6.0 of PowerISO installed.
I like it and want to take advantage of this offer as WinArchiver integrates with PowerISO.
I got a link to the pure download for 6.0 from developer.
Do I need to file support ticket each time I need to download upgrade for any product?

Michael R. Is this a GUI-only program or does it also support command-line-commands, like e.g. a way to mount certain archives to a drive-letter? If GUI-only do you plan to support such features in the future: It would be very useful to embed mounting into a batch-file...

Deleting files within an archive (e.g. .ISO) makes the file smaller, right?

Unfortunately with 1 license the installation is only allowed on 1 computer, not even +1 for the laptop. Is this correct? Hopefully there is a discount for e.g. 3 household-licenses (or a family licénce) for a discounted price...!? But free lifetime-upgrades is great...

Orochi User EULA on their site says you can install this on a pc and laptop, on here it says installation on 1 computer, who is right and who is wrong? I'm interested if 2 intallations are allowed for 1 user, thanks

Jon Spain I was interested nearly 4 years ago but I was discouraged by the poor response from the developer. Can the Open Candy issue be confirmed during the promotion, please? Anything after 7 PM BST (UK) will be out of time for me.

Constantin Florea @Jon Spain, I just contacted the vendor about your comment.

Claudio Salvio I am interested in software that mounts compressed files (particularly 7zip and rar files) as folders instead of drives.
I am a user of software that allows this (with zip files) and find it very handy.
Does WinArchiver support mounting in folders?
Does WinArchiver support both current user only and system wide mounting?
Greetings,
Claudio

Pete User Does the purchase enable me to select which version (32 bit or 64 bit) I can install.? ( I ONLY want a 64 bit version of the software due to large RAR archive files that I have to mount as a drive letter. )

Claudio Salvio Does it allow to mount files in folders, like 'Pismo File Mount Audit Package' does ?

L. D. User Given that it states being useable on Win98 and 2000... any idea if this also works on Windows NT as well?

Mark Krieger Is the mounting component updated, or the same as https://www.winarchiver.c...-drive.htm ?

Claudio Salvio When you add the possibility to mount the archives in folders (like 'Pismo File Mount Audit Package' does with ZIP files and some others), I'll buy it.

Chong User In 2017 Mats Thell asked about the difference between PowerISO and WinArchiver. I am also interested in the difference between them. I could not see an answer to the question. Was it answered and if so can someone please tell me where I can find the answer. I actually see very few answers to questions here and in the PowerISO page. How is the technical support for this software?
