Michael R. What about file-changes done not with Widows Explorer, e.g. cmd,exe or DirectoryOpus, ...?

TSS Support @Michael R.

Yes, works with third-party programs.

In fact, "Windows Explorer Tracker" is just a name.
You can see the description at its home page:
"Monitor/Track Windows Activity".

Hope this helps.

"Supports File, Folder, Drive and Storage Media"
I understand operations on files and folders.
But what kinds of operations, that might be done in Windows Explorer or another application, are done on a drive (or storage medium)?
This program does not track operations that create, resize or delete partitions or that format volumes, does it?
And what is the difference between 'Drive' and 'Storage Media'? Does either term mean a partition?

"Supports 'Delete', 'Rename', 'Create', 'Insert', 'Add' and 'Remove' Operations"
What is the difference between Create and Add?
... between Delete and Remove?
What is an Insert operation?

I see no mention of Move operation (with optional rename) for example
C:\xxx> move myfile.txt e:\takehome
C:\xxx> move myfile.txt e:\takehome\myfile20180306.txt
C:\Logs> move March Old\2017March
to move directory C:\Logs\March to C:\Logs\Old\2017March

And to confirm, operations on files that I perform from cmd.exe are tracked?
Thanks.
