What are people saying about WinExt Key Launcher

Tazzie "You must install/register the software while the promotion is active, and cannot do so afterwards."
This is an issue for me ... I just got my laptop reformatted and need to partition it and install base programs, etc. I don't see being able to install this program before the promotion ends. Furthermore, what if somehow it needs to be reinstalled? I also have the computer that I will be reformatting to use both together, and had planned to get a license for that computer, also. As with the laptop, I would not be able to install the program during the promotion.

Robert User It is common that if the developer is giving the software away for one day, they often use the statement "You must install/register the software while the promotion is active, and cannot do so afterwards." But for a sale of the same product, that is a big NO-NO.

You cannot expect customers to purchase a license that would prevent them from re-installing later on. For some users that may not be needed for years, but any one of those same users could have a drive failure within a month after the purchase, but they would not be able to reinstall the software.

Therefore, I have to ask, "Was this a mistake?"

Please note that we cannot edit the terms on BDJ, just can select one.

Again: this is discounted lifetime license, once you bought it, you can use it forever, can upgrade to any future version, can install it at any time under the licensed computers.

Hope this helps.

bvssunnydale Hi, what does this offer that's any different than the native ability to assign keyboard shortcuts in Win10/11? I already "Use hotkeys to open programs, files, folders, and more" with just the easy-to-assign shortcuts already available in Windows (so I'm confused about what additionally this offers?). Thanks for your help.

William Henry Does it integrate into the Windows Explorer, or is it a stand-alone Explorer that replaces Windows Explorer?

Jun 5 2025 at 9:49am Copy Link

anonny User I'd prefer optional 3 key shortcuts SHIFT+ALT+key or CTRL+ALT+key or SHIFT+CTRL+key. 2 key is too restrictive and may already be registered to some other program.

Er User What is the program duration?

The fine print says indefinite:
After you purchase WinExt Key Launcher it may be used indefinitely.

The download site say 1 year.

Is it forever or 1 year?

TSS Support @Er User

Forever.
