What are people saying about WinPatrol Ultimate Bundle

CFGuy I am a longtime WinPatrol Plus user and have been very satisfied with the program. It does an excellent job of keeping me updated on potential/proposed changes to my system and has proved invaluable to me on many levels. I interact with the program just about every day (as this is how often various new programs/updates to installed programs attempt to make changes to my system- changes that I, as a user, would likely be unaware of (and therefore not given a choice regarding the system change) if it were not for the WinPatrol program. I also feel that the licensing terms/EULA for this program are extremely generous and "user friendly", as well as the price (as extremely reasonable) considering all of the program features one gets.

I am happy to see this "bundle" being offered here on BDJ, but before purchasing, I have a few questions for the developer that I am hoping to have addressed.
First, I understand that this bundle includes three distinct and separate programs. If all are installed on my system, do I (as a user) have the ability/option to "turn off/on" any of these programs at any given time?

Second, my main concerns with the previous question is with the "WinPatrol Firewall" component/program. I am a current longtime user (and relatively happy with) Norton Internet Security. If I install the "WinPatrol Firewall" program, is it likely that NIS will see this as a "confliction" because a second firewall program has been installed on my system (and I have had NIS give me problems with this regarding other security programs (mainly Advanced System Care Ultimate) that have required tricky "workarounds" or even "uninstall then re-install" of NIS to allow both programs to remain on my system together and coexist together (basically with the ASC firewall ultimately turned and remaining in the "off" position. Can the developer of "WinPatrol Firewall" give me some insight on how his program will interact with NIS, and whether it can "coexist" with NIS, or at the very least be turned "off" in order not to conflict with NIS?

Additionally, I am not familiar with the "WinPatrol WAR" program (although I am sure it would also prove to be very useful on my system). But like the "WinPatrol Firewall" program, would the "WinPatrol WAR" be able to coexist on my system with NIS and ASC Ultimate already installed, and like my previous question about "WinPatrol Firewall", would I be able to turn off (and perhaps even leave off (if necessary) "WinPatrol WAR" if there is an unavoidable conflict with the already installed NIS or ASC Ultimate programs on my system?

Many thanks for your help with the above questions, and many thanks for such a nice and reasonably priced security package offering here on BDJ.

Thanks,
Cfguy

Bret Lowry We wrote both WinPatrol WAR and WinPatrol Firewall to play nicely with all other security products and of course non-security products as well. Just the same as WinPatrol PLUS. In addition, you have a 30 day money back guarantee, so you can kick the tires and ensure you like what you bought.

Per User How come the positive comments are from Thursday
The offer is for Saturday and Sunday
Time difference US-Europe only 6-9 hours

If your products work well with other antivirus, antimalware, and firewall
how can we know which products actually discovered bad things

'Firewall blocks unknown programs'
All over the world good software is written
How on Earth can it know the myriads of programs
Do we have to accept this or can we hinder blocking 'unknown' programs

Is firewall sending out daily virus-definitions like Avast and AVG

Is your company in trouble since you are dumping prices that much

K.R. @Bret Lowry I'm a long-time user of WinPatrol Plus. I just purchased the Ultimate Bundle and have installed all three programs on one of my computers. So far, so good. The Firewall and WinPatrol WAR program are light on resources and so far I see no conflicts with other security software.
One quick question (albeit a silly one): I see that the Firewall dog is named "Duke," and, of course, the WinPatrol Plus dog is "Scotty." What is the name of the WinPatrol WAR dog?

@CFGuy All three programs are installed separately. You don't even have to install the Firewall if you are happy with Norton. If you want to try the WinPatrol Firewall, install it and temporarily disable Norton. It's generally best to use only one firewall at a time. The WinPatrol Firewall has a right-click command on its tray icon that says "Stop WinPatrol Privacy Protection." This will disable the WinPatrol Firewall if you want to go back to Norton. The WinPatrol WAR program has the same command on its icon, so you can stop that program too, if it causes any problems for you.

Steven User May concerns is after purchasing the 3PC Lifetime licenses all my email say up to 5 PCs, of which I received 5-emails total.
1 for each of the software's in the bundle, 1 about my order and 1 (nonsense one) to Finalize your payment - which was made already...

Second on my list is the VirusTotal readout on these 3 programs that are to be first a security product. Why their flagged at all is beyond me (mind you I have paid already).

Why can't you contact these security products and get off their FLAG listing or VirusTotal in general to omit them in a scan of your products.

Third on my list is WAR gives no numbered stepped instructions as the other two do for installation, registration/activation.

I hope WinPatrol will answer up real quick here.

Bret Lowry Hi Steven User,
You have very good concerns about the detections on Virus Total, but what engines are detecting our software? Last we looked they were engines we could not even contact to report the false positives. Our software is clean, the problem is Virus Total does not require engines provide links for reporting false positives. Therefore, when one of these lower-tier engines has a false positive it is virtually impossible to make it go away because they do not provide a way or reporting false positives. Just because an engine appears on Virus Total does not mean it is a good engine, it simply means they paid the money to get the free advertisement of being on Virus Total. In the end, that is a pay to play service without any checks and balances like requiring every participating engine publish working links for reporting false positives. Those links should be visible right on the detection page. The reason for the false positive is 4 or 5 years ago some malware used the same installer software we used to create our installers for their installer. Better engines realize this and don't flag every program that uses this installer software as malware, others... Not so much.

Bret Lowry Hi Stray Cat,

You need one license per your computer, so if you are running VM's go ahead and use the same license on the VM.
I currently run quite a few VM's and understand how you don't want to have to buy a license for each VM.
You can use our software for all accounts on the computer.

John User I am a long time user of Win Patrol Plus. IMO it is one of those must have programs and one of the first you install when you get a new PC.

So impressed with WP Plus was I that I quickly bought Win Privacy and WAR in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I had nothing but problems with those two programs. Constant crashes, conflicts and what have you caused me to uninstall them especially after having to do a complete reinstall of Windows.

To be fair, Customer Support did their best to assist me, but when I had the mess requiring the reinstall of Windows I gave up on those two programs.

Still, I kept using Win Patrol Plus and enjoyed receiving the periodic newsletters sent by a professional and caring crew.

Well, I see Privacy is now Firewall and I know there have been a number of updates, revisions, improvements, etc. to WAR so I would like to give these two a try again. However, my problem and question is how can I get my lifetime license numbers for all three of the products I purchased previously? I noticed I misplaced the Win Patrol Plus number during the last update when I tried to upgrade to the Plus, and honestly I think I just deleted the license information for Privacy and WAR because of the problems.

Can I send you an email (where?) requesting the license information for the lifetime licenses already purchased?

And, please, to BDJ followers, this is your chance to try a great program and purchase at an unbelievable price.

Steven User @Bret Lowry Sir,
That's understandable about VirusTotal and I have the info you wanted to know.
Though only one engine alarmed me to it's flag - TrendMicro-HouseCall .
Then before I post the info on VT flags - could you explain if the typo (you stated to "J User" / that was also seen in my delivered emails saying up to 5 PCs on each of the 3 WinPatrol software licenses was also a typo, OR is it for any of 5PC's I personally use downward to 1 in the licenses use? Note I paid for the 3 PCs usage and seen they allows for 5 PCs of each software license.
SO TYPO or NOT - who proofreads for your content and who suffers?

Will the fingerprint feature expand to not only monitor but to block scripts or whitenoise it and cover other fingerprint types being used other than canvas?

RS Regarding the questions as to whether these titles play well with Norton Internet Security (NIS), I offer you my experience with WinPatrol Plus (WPP) and WinPatrol Firewall (WPF).

WPP presents no problems whatsoever, and is a valuable little tool. However, WPF triggers constant intrusion warnings in NIS, resulting in dozens of such notices in NIS logs almost every minute. This kind of activity clearly wastes CPU cycles and can affect performance, depending upon the power of your rig. I notified the developer of this problem more than two years ago, and, to my knowledge, the situation has not been addressed, despite the fact that he conceded this was a problem, and promised to implement white list functionality to address it within the next several updates. Unfortunately, this never occurred. Instead, the developer turned his attention to a new program (WAR), explaining to me that he had to focus his resources on what was profitable when I reminded him of his earlier promise.

While I certainly understand that making money is a priority, it seems to me that developers have a duty to resolve existing problems, not ignore them while pursuing new ventures that rely upon customer trust. (Full disclosure: I have not used WPF recently, so I am unaware of recent changes. Accordingly, it is possible that the white-listing functionality has been introduced, although, given the time that passed without a fix and the explanation I was provided, I doubt it.)

Rick Hello,

With the Ultimate Bundle, can I selectively install one, two or all three programs on a single computer or is it an all or none install?

Conversely, are the licenses for the three products separate and distinct? That is, can each of the distinct programs be installed on separate computers (e.g., WinPatrol PLUS and WinPatrol Firewall on a laptop and WinPatrol WAR on my desktop)?

Thank you.

With the Ultimate Bundle you do not have to install all 3 programs on a single computer. The licenses for the 3 products are separate and distinct, so you can go ahead and install them as you'd like.

Bret Lowry Hi Kent,

Thank you for posting the engines with the false positive on our products.

Baidu, Jiangmin, Rising, Zillya and TrendMicro-HouseCall

To start with, based on my research I'm not sure Rising is even selling their product anymore. At least not in the state because their site was shut down. Baudu, Jiangmin and Rising are all based out of China, We have been unable to find a way to report the false positive to them and actually get a response.
Zillya is based out of an Eastern European country and doesn't have a site in English that we could locate. We received no responses to emails we sent to an address we found.
TrendMicrro-HouseCall has a ridiculously small upload size limit and our installers exceed that size. I think all installers will exceed that size. I spend days on the phone with their support department trying to get this resolved with no success. Their support is atrocious.

Our software is free of all malware, spyware, junkware, ransomware, you name it. We fight against that crap, we do not distribute it.

Thank You,
Bret.

Yes I see this can be a concern to software venders in anyone who see their software called out in a VirusTotal scan. Then anyone can clearly see THAT the major security players says it's ok.

All users who know this small % of 63ish isn't a true representation, then can do to help is vote it harmless by the smiley face angel without having to login.

{You have not signed in. Only registered users can leave comments, sign in and have a voice!} Maybe you can open an account and leave feedback as you have here in your research about these low ranked / tier security products and trying to report their products give false positives of your software's.

Anyway thanks for all your answers I've seen here - as it shows something good about the people behind the WinPatrol software's. Have a great sale and year that remains.

Bret Lowry Hi Kent,

The issue is as we saw it here, if people see any engine with a false positive they panic. VirusTotal is a great service, but is missing the key requirement of any participating vendor MUST provide a link for reporting a false positive on ANY file their engine detects as potential malware, no matter the size of the file.

I am signed in to BitsDujour or did you mean VirusTotal?

But back to this sale. Our software is free of any and all spyware, malware, ransomware, junkware or other annoying/criminal software.

Thanks,
Bret.

I did mean a VirusTotal account and any social sites were you can bring attentions to this issue and in the readers knowledge about the facts. Maybe you can try to suggest to some popular tech sites to do articles about the facts where VirusTotal lacks a means to software venders, giving them no recourse to have a proper means to a rebuttal, correction, clear the air so to speak in a VirusTotal scanning in false positives with the scan engines VirusTotal uses.

To many as the case that VirusTotal uses, some being low tier in non-friendly nations, and no contact means provided to correct the false positives less understand the their rankings to an actual user base and a license being sold of their own security software.

VirusTotal should rank their scan engines used by a color system or listing lineup in an order of their actual user base in licenses sold and it's popularity. Or better would be how many false positives they'd given on VT and some attention to that fact, and besides clean house to use better scan engines used in a general standard requirement on VT, bigger is not always better. Then ensure replies are made to software venders questioning the results through the VT site to keep track - and helps ensure transparency as a whole.

Something if 3 false positives called out in a month on different software's a warning given and special color on their scan results. More than 5 FP in a month then kick them off the site till they change for the better means to reduce false positives they've sited.

About any typo's in emails as to what was paid for and the PC's count listed - how that work? Any things in the work for any fingerprinting technology defeats coming. It's good to know what domains use it but better to be able to circumvent it in someway.

As no user coming to VT wants to be in doubt of any software they consider and want to use. I know I got off topic and wanted to answer you with some ideals to consider.

Thanks for the sales :)

I see you purchased 20 minute ago. The demand in this sale has been very high, I see the licenses request pending, you should receive your licenses very shortly.

In fact, I see it was just processed. My apologies for the delay.

Thanks,

NorkDorf I love the software but I have a problem with WinPatrol WAR.... In the notification tray it is highlighted RED and when I hover over it, it says that "You are not protected" I then double click it to open the program and in the "Dashboard" it states that "You Are Protected!" how come it is doing this? I have manually started the service and restarted but it doesn't seem to make the tray notification to stop showing RED.

I contacted support in regards to this matter but I don't know if they got my question regarding this issue that I am having.

Any help would be great!

K.R. @Sam

Are you sure you didn't accidentally stop WinPatrol WAR Protection in the tray app? My notification tray icon only turns red if I click on the command in the tray app that says "STOP WinPatrol WAR Protection."

Try this: Close the dashboard. Then right-click on the WinPatrol tray icon and see if it says "START WinPatrol WAR Protection. If it does, select this command to start WinPatrol WAR again. Starting protection from the tray app should make the red background go away.

Marek User What does "Lifetime License v2017" exactly mean? Is "Lifetime" restricted to the v2017, or does it contain future versions?

Thanks and regards, Marek

Pam Paulson @Sam
That tray notice was a bug that's been corrected. Have you checked to see if you have the latest version?

I've used all three of these programs since their inception and would not be without them. I've had one problem with WinPrivacy (WinPatrol Firewall) blocking my Splashtop Remote Access program. Both Ruiware and Splashtop tried for a while to resolve the issue but both apparently gave up. It's a little inconvenient to remember to disable WinPrivacy every time I need to access my work computers but I'm living with it.

All-in-all, get these programs, they could save your butt one day.

John User I asked this question yesterday and did not receive a response.

I previously purchased lifetime licenses to Win Patrol Plus, Win Privacy (Firewall) and WAR.

I have misplaced my license numbers to these programs. Should I contact support with my email address to get the numbers?

Thank you

NorkDorf @K.R.
I checked it and I didn't stop it in the tray notification, I did stop and start it with the same results. I even allowed it through my anti-virus Bitdefender and MalwareBytes.
@Pam
I would think I have the latest version since I installed it fresh yesterday. Has there been been an update in the last 48 hours?

Steven User @Sam as you stated- [In the notification tray it is highlighted RED and when I hover over it, it says that "You are not protected" I then double click it to open the program and in the "Dashboard" it states that "You Are Protected!" how come it is doing this?] This is happening to me to on Win8.1 x64 and it even shows sometimes when I open it's window I haven't even registered/activated it yet - WHICH I HAVE...

MADE SURE I INSTALLED IT AS ADMINISTER - BY RUN AS --TOO, after a system rollback to before it's install, and REINSTALLED IT AS ADMIN.>The window freezes or hangs sometime when trying to turn it on too. Buggy for some of us - is it only to function well for Win 10 systems as this seems where all the attentions are of SW Venders being at with it newly marketed and being updated so much / don't forget bout us users on older Win systems.

So @Pam P. it's still an issue it appears with some systems for us.
And @K.R. I can attest to what Sam said is what happens out of the Blue with it being properly installed and registered.

@ Bret Lowery wondering if there is a version of WinPatrol Plus for 64 bit systems as the other two from the bundle installed there correctly and WP P went to the Program Files (x86) folder WHY?
Icon's in sys tray of the ones installed in x64 program files folder - don't have a background color as Scotty does as he's installed in PF (X86) folder.

Seems these were a niche software's at one time and with current trends with the evils in the internet have made it a main stream adoption being necessary - which is fine with me, but are they ready for prime-time usage on all systems of Windows ? I like how the information is explained or accessible easy.
I'm not down on you or the software, I just want something to work especially since it's been around for a while and I gave money to use it.
Are you able to reproduce this or any other reported troubles, is there a means to sent a report to you or pull information off the system for you to see what's happening?
Hope you understand this is not a shrill to you kind Sir in having a sale. I would help get you the info. if it helps :) :) ;)

David O'Neill Brett,

Thanks for the Tamper Protection link. Unfortunately that link is not for the consumer product Norton Security.

As that very popular product doesn't apparently allow for rules for specific products could you add an exception to WinPrivacy so that it doesn't attempt to "interfere" with the PC's active anti-virus program? (Or, at least with a specified program, e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security with Backup \Engine\22.9.4.8\nsbu.exe".)

Thanks,
David/

Tortuga Strange, as some queries are answered & others not at all :(
Asked twice abt WinPrivacy, still waiting for a reply ...

ALSO, the question from Marek is *VERY* pertinent !!
As we learned during Aomei's June promo here on BdJ, their concept of 'Lifetime' is the "Duration of the user's PC Hardware" (Yes, no kidding!!), as a paid (Yes, paid!) Lifetime License can NOT be transferred to another PC.
So, I've since become quite suspicious of the term 'Lifetime', as it appears to mean different things to different companies, and in some instances, it means absolutely nothing ...

Was thinking of buying WAR, but will wait to see what the company response is.
Peace

Lifetime License Options - from the purchase page on WinPatrol
https://www.winpatrol.com/ultimate/

[ What does "Lifetime License v2017" exactly mean? Is "Lifetime" restricted to the v2017, or does it contain future versions? ]

The Ultimate Bundle includes lifetime licences for for WinPatrol WAR, WinPatrol PLUS and WinPatrol Firewall. It can be purchased as a single computer license or for multiple computers. With this license you receive a 30 day money back guarantee, technical support
***** and all future updates/upgrades to each product. *****
All three products run on Win XP SP3 through Windows 10. May be used in small businesses.

WinPatrol Firewall includes a lifetime licence of your choosing for one, three or five computers.
***** This license is valid for YOUR lifetime, not that of your computer. *****
With this license you receive a 30 day money back guarantee, technical support and all future updates/upgrades to WinPatrol Firewall. Runs on all Windows based operating systems, XP SP3 through Window 10. May be used in small businesses.

[ Just want to confirm that WinPrivacy & WP Firewall are indeed the same product. ]
WinPatrol Firewall *****(formerly WinPrivacy)***** has been referred to as the “Easiest Personal Firewall in the world” and has blocked hundreds of thousands of malware infections for our customers before they happened.
https://www.winpatrol.com...winprivacy

SO IT'S IN PRINT AND WHY ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT HAVE ANSWERS WRITTEN, IF YOU LOOK AT THE VENDERS SITE AND UNDERSTAND THE SOFTWARE FIRST BEFORE THE CHEAP PRICE DRAWS YOU IN :)
Take a screenshot, phone pic if you feel it necessary. As Bret's other answers here about license seemed pretty liberal to VM's and duel boots.

(quote)-You need one license per your computer, so if you are running VM's go ahead and use the same license on the VM.
I currently run quite a few VM's and understand how you don't want to have to buy a license for each VM.
You can use our software for all accounts on the computer.

(quote)- As for dual boot, go for it. You are only using one at a time.

Bret.

Bret Lowry Sam,
I regards to the tray icon. We have seen in the past where Windows 10 sets non-Microsoft services to “Manual” when applying a patch and then fails to restore them to their original setting once complete. My assumption is that is what happened here. I sent you the fix in an email response to your support request. I will post it here for anyone else you may run into this issue.

There are two ways to fix this.

The easiest is to open Control Panel, then Programs and Features and uninstall WinAntiRansom.
Then download and install the latest version from https://data.winpatrol.co...-setup.exe.
This will result in new service entries being created.

Or, you can manually go into Service Manager and adjust them yourself.
You can do that as follows:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Administrative Tools
3. Open Services by double-clicking on it
4. Scroll down and located WARSvc
5. Double-click on it to open the Properties screen
6. Change Startup type: to Automatic
7. If Service status: doesn’t shows “Started”, please click on “Start”
8. Click OK
9. Double-click on WARWDSvc to open it’s Properties screen
10. Change the Startup type: to “Automatic (Delayed Startup)
11. If the Service status: doesn’t show “Started”, please click on “Start”
12. Click OK
13. Close the Services Manager dialog

Bret Lowry Hi John User,

Yes, if you have lost your licenses, please contact support and we will retrieve them for you. We are looking into an automated license retrieval system but want to be very careful to avoid any data breaches as well so we're taking our time to get that right.

Bret Lowry Hi David,

We are beginning work on the next release of WinPatrol Firewall and I have added this as a potential upgrade. It would basically be an "Ignore" program feature where we completely ignore a program and all network traffic from that program.
I'm not sure it will make it into the next release, but we will try. This feature would help with other product as well, like Splashtop Remote Access.

Bret Lowry Hello Tortuga,

My apologies I was not trying to ignore you.
Yes, you WinPrivacy license will work perfectly in Winpatrol Firewall.
Also, all WinAntiRansom licenses work in WinPatrol WAR.

The products were simply renamed to carry the WinPatrol name.

With you lifetime license you get free upgrades as well, for life.

You can also move the products from computer to computer w/o worry or having to contact us. We understand life happens, computers stop working (my laptop did just that a few weeks ago) and you need to replace that computer. The last thing you need when that happens is to have to ask "Mother May I" to install a product you truly need.
We want to help make your computing life better, not more difficult. :)
Again, I apologies for not responding to this post sooner.
Thanks,
Bret.

Bret Lowry For customers who are confused by the renaming of WinPrivacy to WinPatrol Firewall, you should sign up for our newsletter. We explained the renaming in detail in our December issue.
The products were renamed to carry the WinPatrol name, your licenses will work in the newly named product just as they did when it carried the old name.

WinPrivacy became WinPatrol Firewall
WinAntiRansom became WinPatrol WAR

All licenses remained valid. Lifetime means lifetime, even if the name changes.

Steven User @ Bret Sir
What about mine- 6 hours ago in the "read More" part, starting with @Sam post I made.

@ Bret Lowry wondering if there is a version of WinPatrol Plus for 64 bit systems as the other two from the bundle installed there correctly and WP Plus went to the Program Files (x86) folder WHY?

Icon's in sys tray of the ones installed in x64 program files folder - don't have a background color as Scotty does - as he's installed in PF (X86) folder.
Will Scotty have no background color if it's installed to Program Files 64bit side of a system? Glad you used dogs - cats have their own strange ways, never seen a guard cat either.

Seems these were a niche software's at one time and with current trends with the evils in the internet have made them a main stream user adoption being necessary now - which is fine with me. More power to the People :) :) ;)

Avangate, authorized reseller of WinPatrol to receive all on-line payments done by its customers/clients. To get further payment support for your purchase, sign-up using your purchasing email address used - for a Avangate myAccount - [ was in the emails sent to buyers after purchase ]. [ One of the features Bret wanted to offer and spoke of is there already - license key code retrievals ]. •Re-download license keys/codes* and download invoices

[ I guess it makes a difference when you bought them and when Avangate took over the payments details - possibly Bret will migrate all the before purchases info to a data base there that would help all ].

Tortuga @Bret
Thank you for your reply. Glad to see my License is valid :)

@Steven
Yes, I read that, as I read *everything* here & on ea company's site, before purchasing anything, do screenshots & ask all the appropriate questions.
But despite the precautions, lately there have been a few occasions where the License was purposefully misleading eg 'Lifetime' meaning the lifetime of the computer & *not* the lifetime of the product; or 'Lifetime' use of the same version, NO upgrades allowed; or changing Policy after purchase & not honouring the terms; etc, etc
So, even with being very careful, there have being several occasions lately where things are not at all what they appear. Therefore, I ask questions!
Thank you though, for your reply.

Peace

No problem about wanted to ensure the license is as we promise. It gives us a chance to state clearly on this respected site that our lifetime licenses are truly lifetime licenses with free updates/upgrades included.

Bret Lowry @Edward Smith,

I am looking into that now. We've had some of the licensing emails blocked by spam filtering solutions that require responding to a website before the mail can go through. I will look-up your licenses for you. Please send an email to support@winpatrol.com so that I can send them to you in a private manner.

Bret Lowry @Steven,
My apologies, I missed your post, lots of posts here.

WinPatrol PLUS really would not benefit from being a 64-bit application, that is why we haven't pushed to convert it to run pure 64-bit yet.

The background color on the icons is not affected by the folder in which it is installed. The background for WinPatrol Firewall and WinPatrol WAR are transparent, unless they are red. We will be updating that because on some screens the icons are virtually invisible with the dark backgrounds.

Avangate simply processes the payment, the bottom line is the buck stops with us. If you need support, send and email to support@winpatrol.com and we'll help you.

geo User Just wanted to say that have been using 'Scotty's' services since I can remember. Way way back on a win95 machine. And I can say that Bret is following Bill's good work and reputation that made WinPatrol a respected product name.
This is one of few software developers that I can wholeheartedly recommend for their products and sales ethics.

@ Tortuga : Yes, AOMEI need not apply here, THIS IS lifetime license.

Even though I have one already I did take this offer to support their effort, and at this discount it's no brainer.
