Chris Roy Jackson Thank You, but I cannot see any way to upgrade the software either in the "GUI" OR on the Website... There are TWO issues here:
#2 I want to be sure how to upgrade in the future!
#1 I have just purchased (HERE) version 3.6.3, but upon preparing to install, I see that I already have version 3.4.7 installed. Upon further checking it seems (by File Date) that I installed THAT (Previous) version on or around April 1st (LAST year).The problem is,i JUST HAVE THE "INSTALL File" WITH no notes, AND the information box in the Software just says it is a "Licensed Copy", so I have no idea (for SURE) if it is a "PAID" or a "FREE" License though I THINK I did pay for it. As my finances are limited and IF my first copy is PAID, then I'd like to get a refund as I don't really need a second copy. This would just be to upgrade the existing copy. On the "other hand" if my first copy was a "FREE License", I'm okay with paying for the License.
I looke through my purchases here at "Bits", and don't see the previous purchase, but it appears that not ALL of the purchases that I have made (over the past few years) are listed. Perhaps I should just email Digiarty's Support?!

I get between 200 to 600 emails almost every day and 40% to 60% is all SP

Daniel People are paying for this. They have to install in 7 days and cannot install it again after 7 days, You have this policy with the give away and when buying your software, What kind of software company that will only allow 1 install in 7 days? Must register and install in 7 days. I will never purchase your
stuff again. I bought this before. Was unable to use it after I had to uninstall it. I used the same installer.

I think it is fair as the giveaway version is sold at $0.00, which is also fair for those who purchased it with $9.95.

Daniel This offer is 34.96.
The fine print says You must install/register the software within 7 days, and cannot do so afterwards." Your sofware allows one install even when you pay 34.96 for it. I guess people have to pay after each uninstall. It is not just for the giveaway offers. If you can installl again fgor a purchased copy edit the fine print. Dont a without editing the You must install/register the software.
Your policy is not fair when paying 34.96 after a 30% discount.
People should avoid buying your software. I lost money on DVD Copy Pro.
Was told key is invalid using the same installer when I purchased it. To consider allowing 1 install on a 30% discount fair, is not fair.

The key will be invalid when you uninstall a paid version of your software.
Anyone tfrom WinX hat cosiders your policy fair is stealing from your users.

Reviews on the web say to avoid WinX for the reasons I posted above.

Stuart Clarke Digiarty really is going to have to do better than this: to judge from other complaints on here, this offer is shambolic. Clicking on the GET IT FOR FREE now takes you to a screen to choose if you want the offered product and/or another, but when you click on the offered product you either get a message saying you don't have anything in your cart -- odd, seeing as you've just chosej it -- or the screen spins its wheels and nothing happens.

The screw-up isn't Bits's fault at all but hey, it's a sunny day here and there are far better things to do than sit indoors coping with a developer who can't even manage to give stuff away without wasting people's time. Byee, WinX.

Molly_Digiarty @John Amrein @John Amrein It does not have compression feature. WinX DVD Copy Pro allows you to copy D9 to D9 (8.5 GB), copy D5 to D5 (4.7 GB), or clone intact DVD video audio data to blank DVD-/+R (DL), DVD-/+RW (DL), DVD RAM.

Adam P @Molly_Digiarty That link only tells us why you shouldn't shrink, not how to shrink. For older style tv's, the quality difference isn't so noticeable, so I guess I'll have to keep using other software if Digarty doesn't have any software that shrinks dvds.

Linton User @Adam P Once you've used a program such as this one to copy a dvd that removes the copy protecton etc. (even if it does only copy it to the same size such as D9 to D9)... then just run it through a program such as DVD Shrink (which is free btw - and extremely easy to use) and that will shrink it down so that it fits perfectly onto a single layer D5 blank disc and achieve the result you want.

I know that means having to use a second addittional program... but at least DVD Shrink does a good job and doesn't take very long to compress it despite using intelligent frame by frame analyses... and the program is FREE!

Anyway, hope that helps.
