Stuart Clarke All getting a bit confusing, this.

Aside from what seems to be a double offer of the same thing -- 100% discount, or, er, 80% discount (is the latter is for a lifetime license??? Whereas the former *isn't'* lifetime???) -- the developer's own website is giving away WinX HD Video Converter as its this year's Christmas present to everyone.

WinX HD Video Converter is a multi-purpose transcoder. Throw any video at it, and it will convert it to any device format: Windows, Android, and/ or iOS. By contrast, WinX Mobile Video Converter seems to be just a single element stripped out of that converter and restricted to Android-friendly formats instead.

Perhaps Digiarty itself would like to clarify, because on the face of it, its own website giveaway does so much more than the one it is making available via BDJ that there doesn't seem much point in bothering with WinX Mobile Video Converter, whether 100% off or $9.95. . .

Lee Newsum @Brian De Braganca: Personally, I don't understand your problem - Digiarty are GIVING AWAY a FULL-PRICED, fully-working piece of software (albeit without upgrades unless you pay $9.95, apparently). Sure, there's a time-limit - that's perfectly standard and acceptable - but 90% of the time (or more like 99% with GOTD, in particular), that limit is ONE DAY, whereas here you've got SEVEN. AND it's all up-front, so you don't find out about it too late!

Toeknee B I downloaded the FREE version yesterday, checked it out and decided to purchase it for the $9.99 to get the lifetime updates. I have tried at least 20 times to purchase it, but every time I put in all my info and try to proceed to add my credit card info, I end up at a page that says my cart is empty! It worked fine yesterday when I made the purchase for the Holiday Bundle from them, but I AM DONE trying to make the purchase for this! Way too frustrating! Would have been nice to have it in the bundle as well anyway. Guess I'll have to live with the free version for as long as it is useful. Good luck to everyone else!

Thanks. There's no feature difference between the free and paid versions. The only difference exists in the registration and update limitations. The free version can only be registered within 7 days since today and it doesn't support free upgrade to later versions whenever published. But the paid version has no limit in registration and upgrade. Purchasers can enjoy free lifetime upgrade to any later versions and free tech support.
