What are people saying about Wondershare QuizCreator

Daniel H It should be stressed here that this price is for Wondershare QuizCreator Personal license probably and user is thus not eligible for commercial activities (selling, distributing). Am I right? The license says "only intend to use it at home for private use" but who makes quizes for him/herslef - probably only fool.
If Wondershare would change their strict license policy I would buy immediately, probably a long time ago.
There is no too much competitors in the field as Tanida Quiz Builder has not been upgraded in reality for several years. Others have ugly GUI :)

Wondershare Software Hi, it's Jinlei from Wondershare E-learning Division. Thanks for your interest in our product QuizCreator.

The price we offer on this site is for one single-user license, which could be used in corporations, colleges or family, but the files made by software only allow for internal use. It means you may not distribute them outside your organization.

Single-user license is suitable for internal training, school education and personal use. If you would use our software to produce products for selling, a commercial license is recommended. For more info, please contact us at: biz-elwondershare.com.

Daniel H Thank you for reply. One more question. Do you have some import filter for files exported by SunRav Testoffice (rtf, txt, xls)? I have a huge database from this and would not like to re-write manually, if possible.

Wondershare Software Hi, thanks for contacting us again. The QuizCreator already has built-in function for importing quizzes from excel documents (xls), thus there's no need to make interface by yourself. The structure of excel files has to follow some rules, otherwise they cannot be read by QuizCreator.

To make it more convenient, we have made an accessory called Excel Generator which enables making numerous questions quickly. Within this routine, you only need to input the parameters of questions like category, number, difficulty and sequence, then it will produce an excel template includes all questions you need. The content of questions can be added to the template by editing document. After that, you will be able to import this file to QuizCreator and produce a quiz.

More info can be found at: http://www.sameshow.com/q...excel.html

Thanks.

Daniel H Thank you for info, though it would be easier to have directly in program some "import function" for SunRav TestOffice, Adit Testdesk, MC Quiz Maker/Teaching Templates Quiz Maker by TacSoft, Visual CertExam, TestConstructor, Moodle format (GIFT, Aiken), Blackboard formats etc. This is definitely easy to for programming. It would be a great help and definitely great PROS in evaluating this software.
Also, untighting strict license policy for commercial (at least discriminating between commercial single developper and company) would be a great help and could promote further this software.

Wondershare Software Hi, since QuizCreator is more like a personalized authoring tool, to make it satisfactory to most users, we are always working on adding more functionalities and expanding its intellectual capacity. We know that it could be more powerful if we develop the feature as you described, but it may not be suitable for many other users. Therefore, we may consider to make a custom build for you, please contact me if you have interest in it, thanks.

David Sutphin Was interested until I saw the post in their forums regarding not being able to track quiz results with PHP. Instead you have to pay for an additional service with them. They really don't make this very clear in their product information. No php support means no purchase from me.

Wondershare Software Dear David,

The product allows you to track results using PHP while it is included in the program you will get. Therefore, there is no additional service fee.

For any further question, please do not hesitate to let me know, thanks.

Jinlei
