Denys Yevenko Yes, MP3 Cutter Joiner supports all operations for wave format. Wave format contains non-encoded data so there is no need for reencoding, and therefore editing is also lossless. At the moment MP3 Cutter Joiner does not support wma format. To use MP3 Cutter Joiner you need to decode wma files to wav or mp3 format.

Stefan Hauber Just downloaded the trial-version and played around a little.

Have not yet decided to buy, but the features are good: Lossless cutting of mp3 and wave-files, with tag handling and normalizing and fading in one tool.

On the handling I am missing some things, probably quite easy to implement: First was, when I tried to mark all (to normalize the complete track). It was quite inconvenient doing this with the mouse. A CTRL-A Hotkey would be nice.

Also a hotkey for play/stop (e.g. SPACE) would be good. And the possibility to configure, that the display would follow the played position instead of being static on the position it is would be nice.

And I think, the labels of fade-in and fade-out were mixed up.

I have not done checking the resulting file, but found out that when clicking on SAVE-icon no overwrite-warning occurs. Perhaps it would make sense to display one, even if a SAVE AS menu-item exists.

Of course: Please correct me, if i have overseen something...

Denys Yevenko Thanks for the suggestions. To normalize the complete track just remove selection (click anywhere on the waveform) and click "Normalize" on the toolbar. Behavior when pressing "Save" the same as in most programs (eg MS Word). If you open a file, edit it and press the save, no need to ask whether you want to really save it. This overwrite-warning occur if you cut or merge files and the result will try to save to existing file. If this behavior is convenient for you, let me know and we will make it optional. Thanks again for your suggestions, we add them to the nearest update.

Wilson Piriz I use Audacity which is open source, free and has lot more features, although there would be some loss exporting project as an MP3 file. But the loss is hardly noticeable if your source is good quality MP3. Just my 2 cents..
