Doug Atkinson How well does the program handle Variable Bit Rate (VBR) files? I've used some splitters/joiners in the past that did just fine on constant rate files, but not so well in VBRs. Thanks!

Ulrich I got this the last time it was offered here. The program works well, however I feel it would be even more useful if it would tag split files properly with the info of the cue file. The source audio file is correctly separated in individual tracks without re-encoding the file. However, none of the splits show the info already available in the cue file (track artist, track name, track number, album artist). The track artist of the first split is repeated in all files, the other fields are left blank, which means that all tags of the splits files have to be manually edited afterwards.
